I will have business in the Emory area sometime in the next 6-8 weeks. We will likely come down through Greenville. Are there any "must stop" eateries in the area? I'll be staying with family just outside of Forney so minus well include that. Thanks in advance.

Tiffany's Restaurant at Lake Fork Marina Motel is a good stop if you're out for a drive. Don't leave without eating some of Tiffany's pie.

But seriously, this place is pretty good--or at least it was last time I ate there.

She doesn’t sell a buttermilk, chess or pecan pie? Where’s she from?

Grandpa used to have a little shitty fishing camp on Fork.   If you are coming from Dallas, there was a decent little Mexican place just past the second bridge.  Decent is about the best you’re gonna do.  No idea if it’s still there.

20ish minutes from Sulphur Springs. Lots of good options there. I’d probably eat there for dinner 75% of the time.
