Awww man.  He played some great characters.  I had no idea he was 86, but it makes sense because I've seen him in movies and TV for my entire life.

What a hilarious and wonderful man.  Didn't really hit his acting stride until he was in his mid 40's.  Wasn't a leading man nor a character actor but was apparently so damn funny and kind in real life that he kept getting bit roles and wound it up into a glorious career, most prominently for many of us or course---being the Guest films.  Wife and I loved him and will miss him dearly.  Reminded me a bit of my old man

Ron, I would be surprised if the affiliates were concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship, but nice try.

RIP

Fred Willard was so cool, he got popped for pulling his pud in a porn theatre at 72 and no one really gave a shit. I guess he lost some crappy narrating job, but was later hired as a recurring character on the biggest sitcom on TV.

RIP, funny man, one of my favorites.

”How much do you think I can bench?”

Damn, he was the best.  That sucks.  I can’t find the clip on YouTube but find the sketch he did on Tim Robinson’s “I think you should leave” where he was the stand-in organist for a funeral.  So great.  Probably one of the last things he did.

Last week I was binge watching King of Queens and it got me to wondering how much longer Jerry Stiller would be with us. Last night, I was watching  a trailer for Netflix's new series "Space Force" and wondered the same thing about Fred Willard.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be binge watching The Apprentice this weekend.

Let me ask you, you got a Chinese,  russian, Italian dog, do they all speak the same or do the barks mean something different?

Look at the size of that bowl? I've taken sponge baths in smaller bowls

I'd settle for you binge watching some Longhorn basketball.

He showed up for a moment in that new LSD documentary on Netflix. Maybe his last role. He was great, RIP.

So sorry to see him go.  I mean, the male half of Blaine, Missouri's Lunt and Fontaine!?  Not exactly chopped liver.  "Midnight at the Oasis" will never be the same>

He was a legend.

Piping hot take: Best In Show sucked until he saved it in the 3rd act.

RIP to that hilarious man.

It was the perfect take on Joe Garagiola co-hosting the Westminster Club dog show.

Waiting for Guffman is one of the most underrated Guest movies.  I think I’m gonna watch it tonight.

I'm gonna rub one out in an "adult theater" in his honor. That's what I'm telling the cops, anyway.

I agree he was hilarious in best in show but saying the movie sucked before he appeared?  I'll gouge your right eye out with my thumb, I shit you not, you little freak!

I remember the first time I saw that movie. I was at a friend's place and it was on HBO or something. Neither of us knew anything about it. Our sides were splitting. I was dying.

Fred was great in everything. RIP.

I'm goin' home and I'm gonna bite my pillow is what I'm gonna do.

My fav role of his was in Everybody Loves Raymond. But he was great in everything. It seems this year is killing off a lot of legends,  and I do not like.

Yeah, losing Stiller and him in a week is a huge loss for comedy.  Granted, neither was a spring chicken but still.  If these go in threes, who's the next hilarious geriatric up?

Larry David?

More likely, Mel Brooks.

And Carl Reiner is still kicking at 98. Wow!

Fuck.  Mel Brooks fits the bill perfectly.  Steve Martin is 74, so not decrepit but still getting up there.  Somebody tell death that Dane Cook is 85.

David letterman should get a mention too.

good think Alan arkin is only 37.

I would rather be with the people of this town then with the finest people in the world.

Great line from Roxanne.

I had forgotten he was the mayor in that movie. He was outstanding as always.

Brooks and Reiner are the first that came to mind. Then we also have to consider Dick Van Dyke who is 94.
