It's like the scene from a Fish Called Wanda when Jaimie Lee Curtis outs George on the witness stand, and instead of leaping out of his seat, it's just Trump giving the thumbs up being fat.

This feels like a good time to remind everyone of the time Obama said the number 57 instead of 47. Man, that sure was a big deal. We got eight years worth of laughs out of that.

I think they are colluding on strategy

It's been reported Trump is now mostly using his personal cell for phone calls. Maybe he thinks that since it's not a government phone, they can't listen.

it seems to be readily apparent that there is no strategy.

I don't understand--what does it take for the Republicans to actually move on any of this? What more does it take than knowing they could literally start calling for reasons of insanity and get one of their own in with Pence?  Seriously, do they have an ounce of spine amongst any or all of them?  Do they need the Koch brothers to lead the charge?

A spine probably...

Fabric woven in the color of tan was a huge deal at once before, too.

It was such a simpler time.

I don't think highly of Rudy Giuliani, but I never thought he was stupid.  This is bizarre.

He is at the age where thinking can go to shit.

Rudy Giuliani on Fox and Friends: “And let me tell you something about the so called pee pee tape, okay? Donald Trump peed on the hookers. They didn’t pee on him, all right? End of story.”

Yeah seems like a bad admission when they had the best non-political excuse:  Cohen didn’t want his melanie to think trump had an affair.  That would be a reasonable explanation that had nothing to do with the campaign.

It's hilarious just watching them admit they commit crimes. Your honor, I DID ALL THE ILLEGAL THINGS.

There’s some speculation they are doing this for Cohen, taking the heat off him for campaign finance violations and such, in hopes he doesn’t flip.

(narrator: He’s going to flip)

I think they are distracting from Mueller/Russia.

Guilliani is gone within the week. That is my prediction if Flood comes in. He is also gong to have to take away the twitter machine. These dumb fucks(Trump and Guilliani) are burying themselves.

I think what will frustrate me long after Trump is gone is how this country was duped by this collection of bumbling idiots.  If we are going to elect a scheming criminal, I at least want him and his team to be good at it.

Flood and Giuliani are not connected.

Flood is White House Coun., like Don McGahn, he’s no part of Trump’s personal defense team.

Giuliani is Trump defense personal media spokesperson of sorts, much like Jay Sekulow was in the beginning.

There has to be an old Trump tweet where he says you shouldn’t pay hush money if you didn’t do anything wrong because it makes you look guilty.

This was my take in the election. If Hillary is the criminal everyone said she was, she must be the greatest criminal of all time with all the testimony and investigations she’s survived.

I want that mastermind working for me.

What's hard to understand? This is the result of a dysfunctional two party political system. It really is no deeper than that.

They quickest way to get rid of Giuliani will be for other lawyers to start laughing at him.  Trump couldn’t allow that.

The attorneys at Bracewell have to be happy today they removed Giulianis name.

That's never going to happen. It's a "pry it out of my dead cold hands" situation.

So Rudy says it was a loan that he repaid after the election.  But it was never reported as a loan, which it must be even if it was a loan.

And it wasn't to help his campaign.  Except the allegations sure would have hurt his campaign.  But it was because the allegations were causing personal pain.  Except Trump knew nothing about the settlement or repayment, which Cohen helped himself to out of general legal fees, so it couldn't have relieved his pain.

Good stuff.

The mental gymnastics are outstanding.

Also, sidenote.  Rudy says somewhere around $450,000 was paid to Cohen in total. What was that for?  Or rather, who received those payouts?

I like that Guiliani’s last appearance was in this comedy was just about every injunction on the Muslim ban quoting him saying “Trump told me to make a Muslim ban and make it legal.”  Then he disappears for a year, is back on the job and again IMMEDIATELY seeing how many unfavorable opinions he can get cited in.
