I know you are using this to explain the scary world isn’t so scary, but I do want to share what is likely her experience. Unlikely she was rocking the beard as a fuck you to the patriarchy. She’s probably early in her transition. Everyone does it differently. But I can tell you she was probably ashamed and scared shitless. Probably full of anxiety as well. And if she’s going the electrolysis route she has to grow the facial hair out for it to work. Or if laser it takes 6-10 days to fall out after treatment. There is no real easy way around the physical treatments. They are terribad. The road is hard as fuck and full of embarrassing and humiliating moments. And she’d be profoundly grateful for kindness. I know I was.

I watched a viral video recently (I think from the lulz board) about some Australian comedy band and the lead singer was named Jordan something (changed it to a feminine...well, more feminine one though) who talked about having to shave the beard and do that stuff and how hard it was. Interesting stuff. Agree to just be compassionate souls.

An absurd waste of everyone's time and money to accommodate the smallest fraction of a percentage of the mentally ill population.  SJW eff off.

Let's see, who is more accommodated today?

Transexuals? Man those guys have it easy! They're so happy and accommodated that they commit suicide in droves despite facing the daily delights of all manner of assault.

Or lame-brained, closed-minded bigots who congregate in great numbers to elect one of their own? These white people are persecuted wherever they go. Turrible!

My daughter has a trans girl in her class. She’s in first grade. It hasn’t been an issue because 6 year olds aren’t bigoted cunts unless they’re taught to be.

Just askin’ those questions.

Whole lot a raping going on in public bathrooms nowadays. I suggest we start charging a dollar to get into one. Maybe that will solve the problem?

They state it’s a sexual health issue not a mental illness. I know facts are tough for you but this one is pretty easy

Oh, I thought you were stating the WHO thought trans women were real women. I still believe it’s a mental illness.

I mean just the other day I went to take a leak at the nearby Chevron gas station bathroom and went to open the door and it was locked.

About a minute later I heard a flush and some big dude walked out and I walked in and the place smelled like complete shit. I seriously wanted to rape that guy but since I’m not a trans I didn’t.

How would you have handled that situation Chrispy? What if it had been your daughter in there?

You’re not spouting facts, just emotion. Transgender women aren’t actually female, I’m sorry that offends you.

Your ability to bury your head in the sand and proudly believe something completely idiotic is impressive. You should consider a career in the GOP.

Oh, I thought you were stating the WHO thought trans women were real women. I still believe it’s a mental illness.
And there it is. Fuck facts, I'll believe what i want.

Fear of the other gets out the vote so Trump and the GOP fan the flames. This has been the case for a long time now. Gay marriage, seculars, WMDs, muslims, immigrants, socialists, transgender, George Soros, the Deep State, antifa...are interchangeable.

True. I fell into the trap a few posts above.

Anything to keep us from noticing the erosion and destruction of the systems that protect common citizens: the press, lawyers, unions, and now we can add an unbiased federal justice department, the Supreme Court, and any minority with whom you might join for common interest.

The public discourse descends to "They's queers and faggots comin' fer our childrens! Anybody on their side sure as hell ain't on my side! I got a AR-14* and an ocean of unjustified confidence that I'm right!"

*Nobody is coming to take your guns. It's just another fear talking point. Those that buy into fear are also brainwashed into thinking their guns will save them. The rot comes from within not without.

Then you are clearly ignoring the scientific consensus. Which means you’re a fucking moron. No big surprise there

Let’s ask Chrispy what he thinks. Chrispy? Can we hear your reasonable sounding thoughts on this matter?

The WHO was attempting to get rid of the stigma, which I understand.

Well, consensus is a bit misleading, as some feel it’s best for them to stay in the ICD. But It was done for stigma purposes, so it somewhat makes sense.

You can believe whatever you want, I reallly don’t give a fuck. But you are not allowed to dictate how others should live their lives or how we accommodate them just because you refuse to educate yourself and learn more. Sorry, society will move  forward with or without you.

Jesus. Sales of Depends must be going through the roof.

Incredible how every single person who cares about this bathroom shit starts their argument with the “safety” angle, then almost immediately pivots to “it’s just not right!!!” when pressed even a little. Every. Single. One.

And Chrispy has to be Guapo, right? He’s the only one who cared about the issue this much in the old board.

Actually it’s everyone except radical religious conservatives who agree regarding trans folks. So while I was about to say it is a complete consensus I think I have to agree with you. Every mental health, psychiatric, medical and psychological professional organization agrees, except for right wing fringe political groups - so much for that consensus we were hoping for, drats.

I consider myself conservative, but I’m not particularly religious.

Traditional conservatives wouldn’t want the government involved in bathrooms.

I don’t wish them any ill will, I just think playing make believe isn’t the answer.

Where did I pivot? I still believe it’s unsafe. But more importantly, so do the women in my life.

Dont you know? Government should stay out of our lives, unless it's something that goes against what I believe, then it's ok... but if it's something you believe then no way they should be involved.  I believe that's what's known as hypocrisy.

Quote

On March 20, during the Crown Prince's visit, Trump claimed the Saudi purchases of U.S. weapons he arranged would generate "over 40,000 jobs in the United States."

Last Saturday, Oct. 13, when Trump was asked if he's considering punishing Saudi Arabia for murdering Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, Trump mentioned the same arms deal as the reason he was reluctant to stop the arms sales. That time, he said the deal created 450,000 jobs.

On Wednesday, Oct. 17, during a Fox Business interview, Trump inflated the statistic to 500,000 jobs.

On Friday, at lunchtime during a water rights memorandum signing, Trump increased the jobs number to 600,000.

A few hours later, on Friday evening at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, Trump said the deal was worth 600,000 jobs for the military but "over a million jobs" in total.

The bottom line: From which source did Trump get these rapidly inflating statistics? I asked the White House press office. No response by deadline.

The thing is...there aren’t “many more.”
You’re doing the “anecdotes are evidence” thing. It’s the Trumpkin play. You do it with Mexicans (who commit crimes at a lower rate than native born Americans), etc.

Your wife and daughter are at a much higher risk of being molested by your pastor or youth director. Stats are a bitch, ain’t they?

Well, then you missed the point. The point is that it’s easy access for predators.

Add to that list... voter fraud.

My job is to minimize the risk for my wife and daughter. Making their bathrooms accessible to men does the opposite.

If only this type of argument could be transposed to stopping mass shootings.

Ok, then. Make sure to keep your daughter out of school, church, and sports as well.
