One of my checklist options before closing the sale of my house is having a licensed or certified HVAC guy come out and confirm the bolt is appropriately tightened on the natural gas line leading into the furnace. Inspector said it wasn’t a problem but needed things to put on his report. I called the guy he recommended up in Cedar Park who said it didn’t sound like a problem or leak to him, and I should save my money and his time by going into the attic and tightening it myself. Buyer’s agent is insisting on a professional doing it. The guy quoted me $100 for his time to drive downtown from Cedar Park. If there is a licensed HVAC person on surlybevoshag, I’d rather make a deal with him.
