June 8, 20205 yr I want to learn. They don't seem to be very expensive, so I'n thinking I'll get a good one right away. Ideas?
June 8, 20205 yr If I were to buy a ukulele, I would get one from Orangewood for "$95" and used DARRELLSFRIENDS10 to get a 10% discount and have the thing shipped to my door for $85.50 in a gig bag and with an Accessory Kit in the box as well. These are all listed under the "Marina Collection" tab on the Orangewood Guitars website. https://orangewoodguitars.com/collections/marina-collection
June 11, 20205 yr I went with a Mahalo Euk-200 electric ukulele. I like that I can plug in headphones and play when the family is asleep or hook it up to a amp if I want it loud. You can even play it without the amp or headphones but it doesn’t get the full sound of an acoustic. Went down a rabbit hole a few years ago watching ukulele videos on YouTube (Jake Shimabukuro playing while my guitar gently weeps and a bunch of people playing Marleys Waiting in vain) and decided to learn how to play.

June 19, 20205 yr You should be at this level by the end of your first week, if you get the right ukulele. Don't know if the hand tattoos are needed to master this technique.
