Apparently it's fine to use racist language all game long without getting tossed:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/byu-bans-fan-for-racial-slur-directed-at-duke-womens-volleyball-player-during-match/ar-AA11aMtT
A woman identified as Lesa Pamplin tweeted Saturday, saying racial slurs were directed at her goddaughter, sophomore Rachel Richardson.
She said Richardson was called a racial slur each time she served during the game. The issue did not end there, Pamplin said.
“She was threatened by a white male that told her to watch her back going to the team bus. A police officer had to be put by their bench,” Pamplin tweeted.
She directed some of her comments directly at BYU.
“You allowed this racist behavior to continue without intervening,” Pamplin said. “Apologizing to her parents after the fact is not enough. She will soon be sharing her story.”
BYU Athletics issued a statement Saturday, saying the fan was banned – and apologizing to the student athlete and Duke University.

Statement about disciplinary actions after the fact is too little, too late.  The man was making threats too, enough that they needed a police escort.  WTF is wrong with people, and at a religious university, too.

Ummmm….that’s utterly CONSISTENT with it being a religious school. The overlap of American Christianity and white supremacy is almost complete these days.

btw, this is exactly why people choose to say "consequence culture" instead of "cancel culture". she didn't want her behavior recorded and shown to others.  why?  because she knew she was being h

Feature.  Not a bug.

Remember this truth: every time someone responds to something like this with “this isn’t who we are!”, they are lying. It’s who a big chunk of us are. And it only takes 20-30% of a society being racist shitbags, and the remainder being ambivalent enough, to let the racists run the show.
And particularly when it comes to the dominant strains of American Christianity, this shit is absolutely a feature, not a bug. Shit, more liberal mainline denominations like the PC(USA) are splitting (the split off is ECO) because a sizable chunk of their membership is dedicated, with literal religious fervor, to hating minorities/gays/etc., and they can’t handle being in a Christian denomination that actually practices the radical belief of “so, when Jesus said love everyone, he really meant everyone.”
We are lurching backwards with incredible effort and dedication.

Yep, if it’s not who you are then why are you still in the club? Why aren’t you running as fast as you can in the other direction like others have done? Your tolerance makes you complicit and suggests that deep down it really is sort of who you are. You’re just afraid or ashamed to admit it.

By the miracle of "the algorithm" this showed up on my youtube below a mountain biking video.

As the comments point out, it is a staggering non-apology.

Would you care to summarize the video you posted, or do you expect us to watch all 21 minutes?

University officials said the ban extended to all BYU athletic facilities. The fan was sitting in the student section, they said, but was not a student.

He got fired of course. Derp.

The “are you gonna compliment me to another flight?!?” Was a funny touch.  Apparently he was shitcanned quite soon after this incident as a coworker of his immediately recognized him from their Montana facility.  Thoughts and prayers to his family on the bullet he “supposedly” eats later this calendar year

Damn shame on his political donor history going public too.

I don’t understand watching this silently. There are places this would not happen without catcalls of “snowflake” and “ride the bus.”  Somehow opprobrium has been outsourced and rebranded cancel culture. Fuck that.

Man, shit has really gone sideways for Maggie Gyllenhaal since she left the Church of Scientology,.

Hard to say which broad is more annoying in that video. By the end, I was hoping an out of control 18-wheeler might smash through the front of the store.

If I am in a stand your ground state, I am, at minimum, blasting her with a can of mace as soon as she mentions serial killers and someone going to kill me.

Excellent.

I was noticing that she has no wedding ring. My first thought was that she has the caveat emptor crazy, but then I thought about all the people including men who think just like her. She's clean, slender, certainly not physically unattractive, and speaks well. While absurdly intrusive, she never raises her voice or presents as physically threatening.

Conclusion: Her cultish derangement keeps away sensible people. Her favorable and neutral traits likely intimidate anti-vax men and, should she be inclined for the same sex, makes her too fancy for whatever small number of homosexuals dare to out themselves among the cultists.

The pregnant woman's response about where she gets medical advice suggests to me that this isn't the first time some nosey fuckwad inquired about the dreadful mistake she is making by adhering to science.

Some person is avoiding a boring work task and overanalyzing Karen.

Yeah, gotta side with BamaChick on this one.  No wedding ring is not the issue.  The big tell was that the lidocaine patches are going to be quartered and used on her cats so they can be subdued, festooned in costume, and forcibly be made to act out certain musical numbers from the great Andrew Lloyd Webber while she chugs Pinot Grigio and destroys things her dad gave her.  She's not broken because she's a cat lady.  She's broken because she's a rotten human being who also happens to be running the Cat-City equivalent of Guantanamo Bay.

first few seconds indicate she might be able to hang in the  aggy QB room.

Not sure if it's her but this is from a few years ago. To be fair, she probably lives in that lake and might have a calf nearby.
