Godspeed to the Bushes, hope that her passing is as easy and peaceful as can happen.

Well if they both are wearing diapers and in the same bed, then yeah.

I’ll say within a week.

In all honestly... seems right for people who have been married that long.  And yeah, for my parents, too.

I always thought that too, but my Grandma passed away last November at 95 and my Grandpa is still alive and kicking. He’s 97 and they were married 74 years. We’ve all been surprised.

A kinder, gentler America.

My mom lives across the street from the Bush’s house. There has been a much heavier than usual secret service presence there and it looks like the media vultures are circling.

Heard that she has requested that she not be hospitalized any further and that all that be done is provide "comfort care" as they wait for her time to pass.

Man, that's real relationship goals to have with someone your so close with, loving them is like loving yourself...

As far as the main issue of this thread: (in my opinion), the Bush family has always represented the best of America...

Always admired her, she's a good woman.  And she's setting a fine example in choosing to go peacefully, with comfort, and acknowledging what a great life she's lived.

She seems to be universally admired.  Here's just one example

Fox reporting she’s passed away at 92.  Tp to the family.

Just heard it.  Such a gracious lady.  God bless Barbara Bush and the Bush family.

I just don't understand the decision to be buried in Aggieland.   Yes I know the library is there but besides dead dogs no one should have to spend an eternity there.

Today I found out Barbara Bush lives 2 blocks from me, so this literally does hits close to home.

RIP

Dang Mrs. Bush, may she RIP. This one hits hard.

Credit to CNN for coverage of her death, while the other news channels suck the life out of the cloak room. RIP Barb!

RIP. Used to see her taking walks in Tanglewood Park. Just a genuinely nice lady.

Mrs. Bush was a good person who never let anything go to her head. She will be missed. RIP

RIP Madam.

I had the pleasure of meeting her when she visited two foreign missions. Always gracious and kind. We lost a stateswoman.

One of the more memorable First Ladies that we’ve had imo. She stayed classy ‘til the very end.

I have lot's of issues with the Bush family, but none with Barbara. She was elegant and the epitome of class. She was a wonderful First Lady and I will miss her. RIP

God bless Barbara Bush. She epitomized motherhood and grace to the very end. My sympathies to Presidents Bush and the entire family.

Rest well, First Lady.

Had the pleasure of speaking with her on more than one occasion.  She was a icon, and a classy lady.  RIP.

My son used to practice baseball at that park a few years ago -- when he was 5 and 6.  Multiple times I saw her stop by and sit in the stands to watch those little 5 and 6 year olds play baseball.

Her love for kids, her own and everyone's kids, is exactly what the country needed at the time and still needs.  She was a genuine person, regardless of political beliefs, and did everything the way it was supposed to be done.  She will definitely be missed.

Class and dignity to the very end.

We got to sit next to her (randomly) after becoming members at St Martins, and my wife and i were pretty awe struck shaking her hand and telling her good morning. It was pretty incredible getting to see them at church, albeit less and less frequently over the past two years. 11 am service Saturday will be televised for those interested.
