April 25, 20187 yr the Harlem Globetrotters are electrifying as well, they have about as much to do with NBA playoff basket ball as your hero Dipo will be making more money after this season, his game blossomed without the Westbrook neck anchor

Who are you inviting to the celebration?

April 26, 20187 yr Good God, the Thunder are getting their ass handed to them on a Mormon tabernacle!
April 26, 20187 yr Can't wait to see Melo and his 40% shooting and baker's dozen PER opt in for a zillion dollars next year.
April 26, 20187 yr Author Gobert and Favors now have 4 fouls each, and the door has been cracked open for OKC.
April 26, 20187 yr Author Gobert with 5 fouls, and Utah is very much looking like the inexperienced team they are.
April 26, 20187 yr Author What a meltdown by the Jazz. They fell in love with the jump shot, and they've been careless with the ball even when they built the lead. It's all coming back to bite them. Edited April 26, 20187 yr by Machinator

April 26, 20187 yr Author A huge part. As I said earlier, foul trouble is what started this for the Jazz.
April 26, 20187 yr Author Realistically, you aren't going to have a series featuring the Thunder without at least one game where Russ goes off.
April 26, 20187 yr Catching up on this thread after the comeback already happened was an amusing read.
April 26, 20187 yr "and youre watching a performance theyll be talking about for a long...long time".. where were you for game 5 of rd 1 between utah and okc?
April 26, 20187 yr Author It's going to be interesting to see how Utah responds in game 6. You'd think they have a good chance of handling OKC at home, but when you blow what looks like a sure victory in a closeout game, that has a way of fucking with you mentally in ways that can change the entire series, as the Thunder know too well.

Yeah, we'll see. Losing a series after being up 3-1 can ruin a franchise. The Jazz starters did not play that well, Jae Crowder led them in scoring. I think they will play a lot better at home and close it out Friday night.

Yep. I think Utah is the better team, but they don't have a ton of playoff experience and their best offensive player is a rookie. I'd still bet on them closing it out in Game 6, but losing like that might make them play a little tighter.
April 26, 20187 yr It took 87 games, but Donovan FINALLY figured out OKC's secret, unstoppable weapon: bench Melo. Try to write a sentence about Melo and his current skillset without including the word "washed". You can't. It's impossible.

Now, if only Presti had resigned Gibson, and also kept Kanter & McDermott instead of trading them for Melo, this team could have given Houston a run, but Utah wins in SLC...
April 26, 20187 yr Enes kanter flew in to cheer on the thunder in game 5 because Russ made him so bad it drove him out of okc...
April 26, 20187 yr Yeah a guy being friends with his former teammates totally disproves the fact that Westbrook’s teammates are often stifled by his overbearing, selfish nature. 🙄
