Remember when losing Muhammad wasn’t a big deal because they were going to wind up with two higher rated CBs + his betterer teammate?

Other than Hill and Thomas, this class is a current dud.  I've always said Brooks is overrated and Bisontis?  The rest of that class?

So Achane will be 2005 Reggie Bush if he learns to catch a football? I'll alert Heisman voters now, so they can get those votes in early.

I would be floored if Brooks decommits. dude has been a heavy A&M lean his whole recruitment, and don't think he has visited or even camped anywhere else.

also this is my shocked face about their recruiting dept not being able to read a calendar being spun as "having the NCAA down our neck"

What does “I run an A&M account, I’m not saying what” mean?

It's aggy, they ain't know how to speak. Believe he means "I'm not saying which (A&M account)."

You can be sure Bohls will vote for him.

Kinda crazy looking at it, Rogers' Twitter activity was all pro-A&M, pretty much actively recruiting for them, until like 2 days ago. Shows how fast kids can change their mind (or get bagged)

I was honestly a little curious if the alums and bag men would go all in with Kelly. Sounds like they are giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I wonder if the NCAA is sniffing around and questioning players about their recruitment. There surely seems to be some stank on A&M right now.

Or, it's the predicted chaos of handing out bags with no plans other than securing a highly rated class. No accounting for players already there, no plan for equality in payment, and no plans for NIL could be three of the four horsemen of the Agpocalypse. The fourth is their bizarre cult-like adherence to idiotic traditions.

Needs to work on his punch.  Probably 2 more years before he sees the field.

Saw a Tarp article that said Akinola Ogunbiyi was 1st team Left Tackle.  Thought he was a Guard all the way?  Or is this vintage Jimbo/Addazzio OL work?  Also had that guy from Australia as 1st team Guard, think I remember he was very raw and needed a lot of work/coaching. 2nd team Tackles were Zuhn and Blake Trainor.

I thought Trainor went medical. Maybe i have him confused with another Sgt. Cubepicker special.

if by bread you mean money, you’re correct.

Aggy is shooting for their 2nd straight MNC, last year it was the #1 ever class ranking, this year it’s the #1 ever class average.

once they process the anchors and they finish with a class of Hill, they will secure the highest class average ever, a mark that will never be out done and is stadium and hall of champions worthy.

the dipshits over at Texags hav assured everyone that they have to take an unusually small class and that Hill is the sole missing piece to aggy greatdom.   Plus they probably need their bag money to keep recruiting last years haul.

Jimbo Fisher makes some adjustments to A&M staff

DOUG SAMUELS       8 HOURS AGO

Quote

Jimbo Fisher has adjusted some duties for three of his assistants on the Aggies staff.

Coming off an 8-4 season in 2021, Jimbo Fisher has announced some adjustments to his coaching staff heading into this fall.

Co-offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey, who worked with the quarterbacks last season, will now work with the tight ends.

Fellow co-offensive coordinator James Coley has moved from coaching the tight ends to the receivers.

Dameyune Craig, who coached the receivers in 2021, will now work with the quarterbacks alongside Jimbo.

Each of the assignments may be new in their time with the Aggies, but Fisher pointed out earlier this week that each coach has experience coaching those new respective positions earlier in their coaching careers.

Craig played quarterback under Fisher at Auburn and later coached quarterbacks for Jimbo at Florida State, and Coley has offensive coordinator experience during his time at Miami and Georgia and coached the Bulldogs receivers in 2016-17 before being elevated to co-offensive coordinator by Kirby Smart in 2018.

Dickey, the coaching veteran of the trio, has been an offensive coordinator at a handful of stops across college football, and his last stint coaching the tight ends was 1991 while at LSU

Proximity I suppose supports this, but for some reason I'm thinking Ohio St.  Though I'm not as tuned in as most of you.

LSU is starting to gain confidence on TJ Shanahan. I think the only question there is if he's a take at LSU.

Tigerdroppings had a thread started today about growing confidence in Shanahan.

I'm speculating but I think Shanahan wants to go anywhere but A&M. It's just none of his top schools really want him.

It's not speculation as far as I am concerned. I told this on one of these threads a month or so ago, but the word is that Rivals way over-ranked him early, he and the family bought it, and expected to see all of the big programs come after him. Texas never had a strong interest and he was never very open with interest towards them when they did reach out. He was hoping to land with Bama, Georgia, Clemson or someone else along those lines. None of them liked the film. We know there are 25-50 guys a year that start out in the top 100 and should have never been close to that, and he's apparently one of them.

In any event, those schools didn't present committable offers. Neither did LSU at some point. I can't remember who else was involved but the story is the same. After the Manning commit, he reached out, but Texas mostly just muddied the conversations with ATM that were happening. They began to really push after missing out on multiple other targets, including some committed to Texas. After several visits, it sounds like the guy would rather go anywhere else than College Station.

It's probably pretty tough stuff for a 17 year old, but then again, there are thousands of 17 year olds playing football without an FBS offer, much less a national ranking and actionable offers from P5 schools.

If LSU is serious, I assume this recruitment ends pretty soon.

Yeah, but there seems to be some musical chairs ongoing with DB recruits, us, aggies, buckeyes and tLite sounding like the lead cast.
