Davis will lose 10-15 hr this season just from not facing Texas 20 times.

  • Hmmmm, it's a damn shame when a phrase takes on new meaning to the point that using it sincerely causes confusion.

Angels are a road favorite with this pitching match-up. eb1d255250a4de0f31d36f588b3efe0c.jpg

Skidding is a generous term. Disastrous or piddling would be a better fit.

Grotesque or abhorrent

All the youngsters contributing now.

With a major assist from their dude that had never played a professional inning at 2B before tonight.

Always nice to beat the Angels, even if we suck.

Weird camera angle but that wrist didn’t look right when he took that tape off.

No, no. Only Padres hit grand slams at the GLF.

Still no.

Forgot about the 40.

Edit: Huff has to be protected from the Rule 5 this offseason, so adding him now wouldn't matter much. Jung & Wendzel do not.

You'll never get a call up if you can't field a line drive like that.

Rangers' Danny Santana: Facing eight-month rehab from surgery

Santana underwent surgery on his right elbow Wednesday and is expected to require around eight months to recover, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

According to Weaver, Santana essentially had a modified Tommy John surgery, as his procedure involved the swapping in of an artificial internal brace in place of the damaged tendon in his elbow. Based on the timeline laid out, Santana will likely be sidelined until around the middle of April, at the earliest. After posting a career-best .858 OPS in 2019, Santana dropped to .511 this season while striking out in 38.1 percent of his 63 plate appearances before going under the knife. That steep downturn in performance coupled with his lengthy recovery timeline could prompt the Rangers to non-tender Santana this winter.

That's an enjoyable double play. 3-4-3.

In the god-mother fucking-awful history of our starting pitching, believe ol’ boy Rick Helling has the season record of shittiest HR/9 at 1.66. Gibson was 1.9 before that fucking missile.

I’d have guessed Kevin gross.

Why the fuck is Odor batting 2nd?

Because we're a 15 and 27 ball club.

I'm all for losing as many games as we can.

LOL

I didn't realize it was an early game today. I just flipped it on to see "hey, Gibson has only given up 3 runs in 4 2/3."

And boom goes the dynamite.

449 a record or was Joey's longer?
