July 24, 20205 yr god i forgot what a beating a-rod is to listen to. i mean, he always has been, but tonight is the first time i've noticed him doing something that specifically bothers me: whenever somebody is trying to make a point by making a list, and the first two things on the list are synonyms, i stop listening. maybe the wife has just made me more aware, because she does it all the time to try to prove shitty points. in a 15 minute span, a-rod was talking about someone (stanton maybe?) and said, "he's smart, he's intelligent, he's..." and just now, talking about cole, "he's gotten in shape, he's fit, he's..." just throw it on the pile i guess.
July 24, 20205 yr Why would ESPN cut off the interview with the commissioner when a rain delay is starting? You've got plenty of time now to ask more in-depth questions and followups.

July 24, 20205 yr for future use, i refer to this as “listing at”. it’s a verb. like, “hey, please don’t list at me.”

Couldn’t agree more. However, saying OU blows, Big Red sucks, the Sooners eat dicks is perfectly acceptable. Edited July 24, 20205 yr by TonyTexas

July 24, 20205 yr Dammit 2020. I hate both these teams, but I wanted some baseball. So now the teams are what? Sitting next to each other in the locker rooms? Send em home, call the game, bring on the other game.

July 24, 20205 yr Looks like an A-team vs B-team scrimmage. I don't think there's a single Giant who would start for LAD. Holy shit, they're bad.

July 24, 20205 yr Author Of all the threads fatgirl was gonna fuck up, I wouldn’t have bet on this one.
July 24, 20205 yr I still can't believe they're making everyone play a russian roulette round to start the playoffs. The Dodgers and Yankees getting knocked out would only be what mlb deserves.
July 24, 20205 yr With no fans, I'm sure we could hear the players chatting. Just stick some mikes around the field and don't have any announcers.
