If we lose this game/series, it'll be because of Bregman and Gurriel.

It will be solely because of defense. Ours making critical mistakes, theirs making multiple game-changing plays.

We have a first and third baseman that can’t hit, a second baseman that can’t throw and an opposing starting pitcher carving us up who could still be ours if the previous front office regime didn’t get cute

i’m fucking cranky

 Other than that were great.

It'll be because Click and Crane wrote off the season before the trade deadline and didn't fill any of the glaring pitching weaknesses visible to everyone before the season ever started.  Which by the trade deadline had logic because we were playing like crap.  Pitchers pretty much overperformed in the playoffs, it's amazing we got to an ALCS game 7 with all the key injuries.

Not to defend Bregs and Yuli ("Bregs unlucky" wore off long ago, he's just playing like crap), but there are always going to be slumps in the lineup during a series at this level of competition.

I’m ok with standing pat. Given the draft penalties and recent deals we can’t really afford to mortgage any more of the future.  We are one win away from the WS, despite tonight’s score, so I’d say it worked out.

It’ll be crazy when we get those next 11 hits in the last 4 innings!

Try playing at Globe Life.  Numerous 340 foot outs.

That's the deepest I've ever seen an infielder catch a ball.  Weird stuff happens with modern shifts.

Is it bad I’m kinda pissed at Brantley right now?

like fuck it. If you’re gonna go down, go down with no one reaching base.

Machete!  He didn't lead the team in walks for nothing (not that it makes any damn sense).

Anderson warming up.  Please, please Mr. Cash, don't throw me in that briar patch!

Tying run to the plate.  Damn, we needed him to throw that away though.
