really enjoyed "hotel reverie" a lot. "plaything" was meh but a clever way to storyboard skynet taking over.

also her lesson on the robot bees...a call back to my favorite episode of the series..."hated in the nation."

You're entitled to your opinion, but here is a definitive list* of the top three episodes in no particular order....

USS Calister

Hang the DJ

Nosedive

Playtest

San Junipero

White Christmas

Honorable Mention:

Be Right Back

Black Museum

Just started season 7 last night.  Man was Common People dark.  I loved it but also hated it.

Need to add Entire History of You and White Bear.  Not a bad list.

Damn you, White Bear was close and I couldn't remember Entire History of You good enough, but you're right

finished the last two. enjoyed eulogy a lot and the uss callister sequel was better than i expected as well.

as for an all time list, hated in the nation gets a big push for me from having kelly macdonald who at one point was desperately in love with me despite not being aware.

my list would be hated in the nation, white bear, be right back, entire history of you, san junipero, nosedive (special callout for max richter's soundtrack for it), white christmas, hang the dj, loch henry, and black museum.

One left to go in the new season. The only one I didn’t like was Hotel Reverie. The main actress was just so wooden, and I didn’t really buy that she would want to stay in that prison.

Plaything had major nostalgia elements for me. I managed a computer software store for a few years in the 90s, and apparently Brooker was a game reviewer during the same time period. He threw in a lot of real computer game titles and other references, like the Connectix QuickCam that witnessed the murder. Loved it.

I'm through Hotel Reverie, which I didn't care for as much as the others.  The Brandy actress killed it for me.  Either miscast or a terrible actress or both.  She's hot though.

One episode to go.

Decent season, enjoying more than I recall the previous two overall.

But the overall trend being AI, AI, AI after everything were already exposed to in reality just feels, well, worn out.  I feel this style of storytelling may need to take a back seat bc all the hypotheticals they bring up are really just what your seeing people already do online.

That first episode with Rashida Jones was heart wrecking.   No need to see that one again.
