I think we will see more of this, male reporters who have no idea how to act around high profile female athletes because, well, they’ve never had to before (plus some other personal issues)

Sounds like the sports media need to do some continuing education on how to talk to women without sounding like fucking weirdos

Perhaps don’t employ these people or send them to the press conferences of high profile female athletes. That exchange is just so absolutely ridiculous. Good on Clark for being disgusted with it.

A bunch of idiot players and ex-players from the WNBA...

Clark is the best shot for the WNBA to gain mainstream success.  Just like the South Carolina coach that gave Clark praise and thanks, the current WNBA players and ex-players should be doing the same damn thing.

Remember where you are. Half of the members on this website have never even had a date with the woman.

Yeah, that's not much of a salary.  But that's just the nature of the league, it's not like they're withholding cash from the players.  that's just what the franchises take in and distribute.  Simple maths.  But she is gonna clean up in endorsements, product lines, appearances, etc.  She's gonna be just fine financially.  And I have a feeling she is gonna use that money for good over greed.  And fuck the older WNBA players for giving her shit.  She paid respect and she paid her dues and she will have paid it forward.

The rookie deals are very lean. Average salary is about $150k which is good money - and it isn’t a year round job. A lot of them get checks in the offseason by playing in other leagues.

It's going to be funny seeing people start watching WNBA games because of CC and realizing... "hey these games are actually pretty good".

She’s worth 10 times that as a brand, but the whining worked for WNT in soccer so why not jump on board lol

That would be a good penalty for a last place fantasy football finish.

I have no idea who she is or what's happening here.  But that torso and thighs on that shade of purple.  I wish her all the best and I'll be in my bunk.

Ms. Dijonai Carrington of the Connecticut Sun may have a new stalker, I mean, new fan…

Starting PG for the b2b champ Las Vegas Aces. She held the NCAA scoring record that Caitlin Clark broke.

I've been a fan for awhile. She just split up with Darren Waller - so I've got a chance.

I think there’s a much better argument with a national team than there is with a private pro league to make an equitable pay argument.

If this is true (that there are biological males in the WNBA), Indiana needs to get Rick Mahorn or Charles Oakley in uniform tomorrow to protect Caitlyn.

anybody?

i could have sworn that their entire thing was insisting that trans men and women be accepted as/treated the same as actual, biological men and women. so if this person is a man, how are they allowed to play in this league?

still waiting for answers on my two questions: is the aggie girl chendall weaver’s sister, and why is a man allowed to play in the wnba?

She’s a biological female. Or that’s what I took from Wikipedia.

Maybe the math works out for the number of people on each flight, but is chartering a big ass plane for team trips fiscally responsible for a league that’s consistently in the red?
