April 18, 20241 yr I think we will see more of this, male reporters who have no idea how to act around high profile female athletes because, well, they’ve never had to before (plus some other personal issues)

April 18, 20241 yr Perhaps don’t employ these people or send them to the press conferences of high profile female athletes. That exchange is just so absolutely ridiculous. Good on Clark for being disgusted with it.

That Clark takes “about 40 shots a game.” (She’s at 22.3 field goal attempts for the season and 19.7 for her career, while Swoopes averaged 24.9 in two years at Texas Tech.) That the all-time Division I scoring record Clark is about to break isn’t legitimate because she has a fifth year of eligibility due to COVID-19. (Clark will break the record in less than four.) A bunch of idiot players and ex-players from the WNBA... Clark is the best shot for the WNBA to gain mainstream success. Just like the South Carolina coach that gave Clark praise and thanks, the current WNBA players and ex-players should be doing the same damn thing. Edited April 20, 20241 yr by LTtxfan typo

April 20, 20241 yr Hey, you promised me you'd never share that pic of me at Applebee's with my "date," @ztejas!
April 20, 20241 yr Yeah, that's not much of a salary. But that's just the nature of the league, it's not like they're withholding cash from the players. that's just what the franchises take in and distribute. Simple maths. But she is gonna clean up in endorsements, product lines, appearances, etc. She's gonna be just fine financially. And I have a feeling she is gonna use that money for good over greed. And fuck the older WNBA players for giving her shit. She paid respect and she paid her dues and she will have paid it forward.

Average salary is about $150k which is good money - and it isn’t a year round job. A lot of them get checks in the offseason by playing in other leagues.
April 20, 20241 yr It's going to be funny seeing people start watching WNBA games because of CC and realizing... "hey these games are actually pretty good".

May 13, 20241 yr I have no idea who she is or what's happening here. But that torso and thighs on that shade of purple. I wish her all the best and I'll be in my bunk.
May 15, 20241 yr Ms. Dijonai Carrington of the Connecticut Sun may have a new stalker, I mean, new fan…

She just split up with Darren Waller - so I've got a chance.

June 2, 20241 yr i could have sworn that their entire thing was insisting that trans men and women be accepted as/treated the same as actual, biological men and women. so if this person is a man, how are they allowed to play in this league? Edited June 2, 20241 yr by definitely not derka

June 4, 20241 yr Maybe the math works out for the number of people on each flight, but is chartering a big ass plane for team trips fiscally responsible for a league that’s consistently in the red?
