    Mane - Kepa - Mane!

  • Been a huge fan of Tsimikas for at least four days now. Very excited to see us land him. I wonder if he might be able to cover at RB as well, because apparently he's got a good right peg on him.

You were saying?

I was saying what? You got lucky on one and just got hosed on another. Every team in the league is dealing with this shit.

How about you fuck off back to the Chelsea thread.

I have always hated how much Shaq has been on the bench because of his sheer creativity, work rate, and skill. I know he's had injuries, but he's always been able to create quality chances.

Shaq is sex

Shaqiri is showing his worth today. He's muscling through.

Final sub? Bring on Rhys?

Millie coming on.

He had a nice Champions League performance too. This is a good sign.

He got us our winner against Midgy the same way. He stays healthy he's an amazing asset

Nat Phillips acquitted himself quite nicely today.

Phillips has played a smart game. Cleared it under danger and made Haller his bitch in the air. Good 5th string option.

Nice 3!

The nice part of Phillips being an option is he's not on the UCL roster. Rhys is. So the rotation will be Rhys on for UEFA, Phillips on until Fabinho returns.

Huge 3 points. Back on our fucking perch. Even with the most goals conceded in the league 😂

Jota might be the signing of the summer.

radical idea

jan vertonghen

left spurs for benfica on a free

yes he's 33 and he's not vvd

but this is a "short term" situation (we hope)

rent him for a nice fair sum in the next window

benfica did a lot of business in the last window and are -25m overall so although vertonghen is playing for them, at 33, he is not crucial to their plans.

If he fit our metrics I think we would have lined him up as a replacement for Lovren.

only thing I can think of is the var review which doubly sucks.

overall fine but not spectacular performance imo.  Three points is three points, top of the league and home unbeaten streak in tact.

He's Lallana with talent

But without the Cruff turns.

Decent result for us going on at the moment. Newcastle up 2-0 late against everton.

Damn near jinxed that one. Calvert-Lewin got one back and that had a nervy corner at the end.

Liverpool top of the league, Liverpool Liverpool top of the league!

Who would've thought when VvD went out we'd win the next 4 without him, Thiago, and Keita?

Well, we won them so....I'm not an arrogant ass that's about to kill us. We were all doom and gloom. If I said something regarding anything going forward, then your pic would be appropriate.

Phillips didn't put a foot wrong but it was a bit of a softball to be going against the Antonio-less West Ham. No complaints, obviously, but I'm not sure he will be in the lineup against City, who are a completely different assignment. At the same time, you can't rely on Matip being fit so who knows.

I've watched that Shaqiri dime about ten thousand times. Just an unbelievable ball by a player who we're lucky to still be able to bring in off the bench. He tends to play in the midfield or out wide as a starter but he seems to be at his best for us when he gets to pull the strings a bit more. Speaks to his intelligence that he can come into a game as a sub and pick the lock that we've been trying to figure out for 75+ minutes.

Nice to be top of the table again. The Ev must've enjoyed it for the week or so they were there.

In the last 10 league matches in which Klopp’s men have fallen behind at Anfield, they have rallied to win all 10. No wonder he describes them as “mentality monsters”.

What an absolutely insane statistic.

Keita and Matip are back in training so they may be available for Atalanta. Thiago is still out.

It's called "Weauxfing the Soccer Gods".

bbc gossip:

Liverpool are interested in Ajax defender Perr Schuurs. The 20-year-old Dutchman was on trial at Anfield three years ago

It's not long ago when a 2-0 lead meant we were dropping points.

I was wondering when we might see Jota for Bobby
