Looking like Europa is our ceiling after the Chelsea win against City. Well, we had our chances and couldn't convert.

    Mane - Kepa - Mane!

  • Been a huge fan of Tsimikas for at least four days now. Very excited to see us land him. I wonder if he might be able to cover at RB as well, because apparently he's got a good right peg on him.

I like Bobby on the bench with the Jota, Mane, Salah front.

Another keeper having a big day against us.

MANE!!!!

Nice pass from Fabs to Salah and then right where Sadio needed it.

Please get a 2nd now. Just so we don't have to deal with the mental meltdown in the 2nd half again.

i'm almost in the home stretch of a full season proudly telling paycock to fuck off for what i've already paid for.

when this one is over if someone has a 10-minute highlights package on youtube please post.

thank you ynwas.

FWIW peacock has great programming. Seems like I’ve watched it more than Netflix this year.

It's 20 cents a day. In 2 seasons, you're going to be paying a lot more when Amazon or someone else has the full rights to the EPL. $6 a month to not have to worry about what streaming site you're going to steal it from.

This has all the hallmarks of us giving up a late equalizer.

Please hold on....and go toffees

Won't matter if we don't win out but dear baby Jesus please dont leicester win another league match.

Make some changes Jurgen.

Do we get extra points for not making a substitution?

We are about to fuck around and find out

There's a weird stubbornness to Klopp this season. Tactics are an issue. I still don't quite understand just what he's doing with Thiago out there.

Thiago playing 90 minutes? Dumb.

No, not really.

I'm glad he uncorked it rather than looking to pass out. That's what we need.

We've had so many chances these last few games and haven't found the second.  Finally.  i saw an equalizer coming.

If we win out we certainly aren’t out of it. Leceister closes the season with United, Chelsea, and Spurs plus they have the cup against Chelsea in the middle. Chelsea closes with Arsenal, Leceister, Villa.

Nice 3 points. Let’s get 9 more.

Why not 12?

I’m a realist.

I’m a realist.
Then you better adjust that 9 pts....

Great job everton. Not a bad weekend.

Wow. Nice. His agent was sounding desperate earlier.

Good luck Gini. He's been as solid a player as LFC has ever had. Hate to see him go but I have faith that our midfield of Ox, Naby, and Shaq will be solid!

You're getting more Milner and you'll like it!

Mom, can we get KDB?

No, we have KDB at home.

A friend just texted me that because of the all-PL Champions League final, and with City and Chelsea (likely) finishing in the top four, the fifth-placed team in the PL would qualify. I feel like that scenario has come up in the last decade or so but I can't put my finger on the particulars, or if that's even the case.

Anyone know for sure?

I think it would happen if a team outside the top five wins it. Could be wrong, but also not sure it would help us.  Glad to be wrong.

Also, screw Ole and manu.

I think it only matters with Man U and Europa. It didn't bump a 5th team in when we won Champions League last time.

It used to be that a 5th or higher squad would knock the 4th place squad out of the following season’s Champions League and the 3rd place team would have to play their way into the group stage.

Arsenal (3rd) laughed at Tottenham (4th) as they slid over to the play-in spot when Chelsea (?...6th maybe) won last time. Something like that.

They changed the rule a year or two later that would have allowed the 4th place team to stay in the play-in spot.

There have been a change or two since that I haven’t followed closely, plus the Super League fiasco just happened, so if all of the EPL clubs cower to UEFA, there might be another alteration this summer.

So I would say that I don’t believe that the 5th place squad would make it if the champion is in the Top 4, but that could change by mid-July.
