April 20, 20187 yr @Captain Ron Classic from Sporf. Can't wait to see Robbie's/Troop's/etc. reaction.

April 21, 20187 yr No thank you. He might do well at Arsenal, but I don’t want us to participate in this “must hire an EPL retread” thing that this league seems to have going for it.

April 21, 20187 yr Would like to see Fulham back, automatic spot looks like it will be tough to hold onto but hopefully they can navigate the playoffs.
April 21, 20187 yr tomorrow is moving day all across britain. 20+ teams can be promoted or relegated across england and scotland in the 1st division there is only 1 match between 2 teams that are already safe. every other match tomorrow features at least one team in desperation mode at either the bottom or top, and a number of games pair top/bottom, bottom/bottom or top/top.
April 21, 20187 yr West Brom can't be relegated today, but with a loss they would be within 1 point of relegation. Should Swansea get a point tomorrow, that would finish them off (not likely, they are playing City). West Brom probably didn't do well to give up a goal 4' into their game with Liverpool.
April 21, 20187 yr Who is this clown at ref for the Watford-Palace game? He's letting a lot go and it's going to cause a problem in about 10 minutes (we're about 3 minutes before 60' right now).
April 21, 20187 yr Sunderland give up 2 goals from the 87th minute on to lose 2-1 to Burton and ensure their relegation to League One.
April 21, 20187 yr I wonder how long before Sunderland see the EPL again. Edited April 21, 20187 yr by Captain Ron
April 21, 20187 yr Wolverhampton cruised today to a 4-0 win at Bolton. With the win, they wrapped up the Championship title.

Ellis Short should get with Leeds’ old board members and author a book called “How to Completely Mismanage a Football Club.” the Stadium of Light is the 8th largest stadium in England at 48,707. What kind of crowds would they get for League One games? edit : Just read on Wiki that the upper tiers will be closed during the 2018/2019 season. Jesus.. someone is taking a bath.

They’ve only averaged around 27,000 this season. Actual attendance is maybe 20,000. A lot of the fans have pledged to stay away until Short sells the club.

April 22, 20187 yr Holy shit what a dominating performance. The atmosphere looks fucking nuts on tv. I hope we pass the 100 point mark and all the other records possible.
April 22, 20187 yr There isn't any question that De Bruyne is the best player in the EPL. But the POTY award is going to go to Salah.

April 22, 20187 yr Under no metric this year is there much of a debate about this. Statistically speaking most places rate KDB as the #1 player in the EPL. He's up for the major league awards and was on the EPL team of the year. Does Wilshere even start EPL games these days?
April 22, 20187 yr This reminds me of that time I referred to Giroud as “the best player in Europe” and everyone responded as if I was serious. My first inclination here was just to keep going, argue even more fervently for Jack, dig in even deeper in claiming that a guy with 11 EPL appearances (1 goal, 2 assists) should win the league’s POTY award, but apparently that would just lead you on further so I’ll stop here. Edited April 22, 20187 yr by Goo Punch
April 23, 20187 yr Yeah, KDB was pretty clearly the best player in the EPL this season. Salah gets the award for the goals record, no biggie. Although it is definitely kind of ridiculous that the award is given out with over 10% of season remaining.
April 23, 20187 yr David Silva is still the best player in the league, overall. Edited April 23, 20187 yr by crackamacgowski
