so by the current mlb definition established by Faye Vincent, a 7 inning no hit game should not count, no different than a 7 inning rain shortened game or an 8 inning no hitter where no b9 was necessary.

I've watched every pitch.  He's been flat out dominant. Defense hasn't really had to do anything.
