looks like Liverpool have the easist run-in having to play only 1 team in the current Top 8 - Man U.

We've done reaaaaaaaly well with teams outside of the top 8, right?

I agree...spurs winning Europa is a bit out there
Welp...

Brighton 3 -0 Newcastle

Brighton pulls out of the relegation scrap and pushes Newcastle squarely into it.

the run-in does not look good for Newcastle. Where do they get points? Will they still be close enough for those last 2 matches to matter?

08 Spurs (h)

15 Burnley (a)

05 West Ham (h)

06 Liverpool (a)

10 Arsenal (h)

03 Leicester (a)

01 Man City (h)

20 Sheff Unit (h)

18 Fulham (a)

Arsenal pulls one back.

i'm watching the Spanish feed on Peacock.  had no idea Andres Cantor was calling games there.  this is fun.

Impressive comeback by Arsenal.

just like that, all tied up at 3-3.  Lacazette with the goal.

still plenty of time for somebody to get all 3 points.

West Ham hit the post a few minutes ago.  that would have iced it. possibly.  so many chances.

what a game.

Apparently a red card early on to Silva. Probably not going to watch highlights.

WBA had some nice goals worth watching from an objective perspective.

Unless Leicester is planning on doing another fade like last season, I’m not sure why they are included in this comparison.

and if your assuming that, you might as well include ManU too.

You answered your own question

Have you met or are you aware of Brendan Rodgers?

You say 'steady' to me again when I say something to you and you'll be on the first plane back.

Leicester is 7 points up on 5th place. Man U is 11 points up on 5th. Those are much different situations.

tottenham and chelsea both left the door wide open for liverpool and everton this weekend.  everton now two games in hand and 5 points off fourth place miraculously.

that means there is a whole bunch of free money to be made out there today if you go hard on betting crystal palace for the outright win.

you fucking knew that was coming...utterly inevitable.

Update....

Wolves/Fulham..

Such bullshit... the PL VAR offside rulings suck so bad.

That is onside all day long and no, i don't want to hear about the "letter of the law"

I don't think the VAR official even knows any more.

Counter point - that’s literally offsides.

The bigger problem is that they should go to VAR, see it’s super close and say “we’re done” and call it a goal. It’s not an egregiously bad call. If you leave every offside like this up to VAR, then your going to get these calls “well a hair on his knee was offside so no goal”.

But if your going to say “close enough, we’re not looking” it then becomes a question of what’s the standard? When do you say it’s big enough to look?

Frankly dump VAR for offsides. It’s ridiculous to try to make mm close calls in 3D from blurry, 2D pictures.

Whoa, Leeds beats City 2-1 with 10 men. Alright. Well, see you later.

Dallas played lights out.  Leeds giving United fans like myself hope that we can somehow get back into the title race.

Ollie Ollie Ollie!

Liverpool dominating, but Villa have the lead against the run of play!
