The first entry for best thread title for August has been thrown down.

Countries that continue to pump money into figurehead monarchies reap what they sow.

"Nations monarch and top political figures struggle to make ends meet as they work tirelessly to lift country from debt"

But this? Who cares, enjoy Monaco, I hear its nice this time a year.

It's 2020. He'll hit the beach in the Dominican Republic, and start reclaiming the Empire one territory at a time.

Hehehe, for sure there is already an advance Spanish guard there. But I will root for the Haitians again this time.

Motherfuck. This democracy shit has gotten way out of control.

The article confuses me somewhat.  It sounds like the King took a 100 million bribe from the King of Saudi Arabia to get a construction contract awarded to a Spanish company.  That doesn't make any sense.

Does some Saudi own the construction company? Maybe Juan promised them a killer Happy Hour with free apps or something.

Looking out for Spanish business gets you in trouble I guess.  Does he get to keep the 100MM tainted money?  Is that in US$ in a numbered Swiss account?  I mean, I'd just go off into exile, preferably on a beach, with access to a mountain villa somewhere, and a plane to fly back and forth.

Franco is probably rolling over in his recently relocated grave.

It says he gave 2/3 of it to his GF, so undefeated.

Was he the sofa king?

Sofa king departed.

I can't find a reliable business article---which companies were involved in this Spanish construction consortium?
