My sources tell me OU had a meeting to discuss just how many dicks they were gonna suck during the rest of the year.

They decided on ALL OF THEM

With shortages on everything, Riley was afraid he would not have a big enough supply of dicks for all his players while keeping his full supply to suck.

(he knows DevDuv isn't an RB, he's talking about how he was used in the offense)

Dude seems like he'd be a ton of fun to have as a position coach

wonder if any of this will be on LHN, or do they all get picked up on the larger stations.

I think the comment about ditching Beck ignores what we all know. It's Herman's offense, and he was spending a lot of time on that side of the ball. We kept that part of our identity and brought in an OC that could ADD to it. Beck was adequate but scared money don't make none.

Beck’s not an adequate OC by any means.

That sucks. Hope he’s okay long term, whatever it is.

Never heard of the backup. Matthew Downing

edit: it appears Downing was a walk-on at Georgia and then transfered to TCU. What happened to the Collins guy?

They signed a JUCO QB last class.  Sucks for Duggan, but Herman needs give them a beat down this year.  Doubt the new QB will be firing in game #2 and that offense should be terrible.

Downing will probably have a career game against Texas, and will be mentioned in the Heisman race afterwards.

The 11 personnel report is not a good sign. Our TE group is below average, while our RB and WR rooms are stocked with talent.  Yurcich has a history of adapting his formations to his talent, so us running a bunch of 11 personnel this year would mean Herman's not giving Yurcich the room to work that he needs.

no, this is wrong.  yurcich uses the tight end in his offense and ours are more than serviceable.

Yeah, I would disagree that our TE group is below average.

Yurcich and Herman have already said they think Wiley is a NFL player. It was definitely below average last year after Brewer was injured and Wiley had to play as a FR. But Brewer is a serviceable TE, Epps should be at least serviceable, and then Wiley has a bunch of upside. Not sure what the developmental timeline is for Liebrock.

Also, the TE group should improve after Leitao moved positions. Leitao was awful at TE and couldn't block to save his life.

If you watch Wiley in the last two games (Tech and Utah) you can see why the coaches are so high on him. There was fairly drastic improvement at the end of the year.

What’s up with Tyler Johnson?  Not really even mentioned in the practice reports and was probably our highest rated OL recruit in past 10 years.

OL is hard to predict and linemen mature on different timelines. He might just need a couple more years.

His high school ran some offense that never passed if I recall correctly.

Damn, its just not in the cards for this guy to be a starter for us. Every time he gets his opportunity or the door opens, something happens to him.  Hoping this is just him missing a practice or two.

Humidor:  "We asked who the best blocking tight end was and heard “.......” and then “...........” before finally, ”....probably Wiley.” Blocking isn’t a strength of this group but these defenders don’t sound like the easiest to block. Epps was mentioned as the best receiving tight end but he’s not a good blocker."

DAMN... Had hoped Brayden Liebrock might be the best receiver for TE's...
