Are they talking about firing Mou yet?  The sooner that bandaid gets ripped off the better.

Nope. We're in Mou year 2. The wheels don't fall off until year 3.

Hey let's play like 5,000 fixtures in September.  Also, that Nov/Dec EPL schedule.... Yikes..

Match day..I mean friendly.   Spurs up 3-0

It's happening.  Levy has been cheap for years because he saw Messi being available in 2020 and so would Jose.  It's known that Messi hates the sunshine of Spain and wants to live in dreary North London.

Why do you think Levy took out that £175M loan back in July?

Levy has been ahead of the game all along. Just like he always is.

Get your Messi kit now!

Looks like Matt Doherty from Wolves is pretty much done

I resisted posting that until it became official, but it sounds like it’s all but completed.

Sounds like AC Milan has cooled on Aurier. That sucks.

Ndombele tested positive for COVID-19. He’s off to a great start.

So did Paul Pogba.   Better now and get it out of the way.

Announced officially this morning.

Amazon dropped the docu-series.  I watched the first three, it’s pretty good.

BTW in case you missed it - with Arsenal winning the FA Cup, Spurs were bumped back to qualifying rounds of the Europa League. The path to the group stage is pretty tough, they are in the "Main Path" but have to win 3 games to make the group stage now. First up:

Just more on the Europa start to the season, should Spurs actually win the first 2 games:

8 Games, 18 days.

Gonna have to play some utes.

First two matches of the season moved to Peacock.

Fuck you NBC. In place of PL mornings on Sunday? Mecum Auto Auctions

so not being an avid tottenham follower, i found it strange to contrast what the two locker rooms (dressing rooms, whatever) looked like between the tottenham series and the man city series on amazon.  granted, only three in on the spurs and rather critically, the spurs were in the midst of a shitty run and a manager transition, but the city series seemed like all the guys in the locker room were having a lot of fun and actually cared about each other as a team.  tottenham's players all seem like the fucking hate each other at the training facility.

am i the only one that has that perception?  was the team suffering from some super fractured state last year?  none of those guys ever seem like they actually want to be there. even kane.  maybe i'm just imagining things but i figured you guys would be the best place to put the question forth.

that said, holy shit that stadium is fucking beautiful.  that is an incredibly facility and it is shot beautifully in the series.  i know how english soccer enthusiasts are about proper pitches and tradition and bla bla bla but give me the new white hart lane over anfield, stamford, trafford, whatever any day.

i mean, the first three episodes take place immediately after the sacking of a fairly well-loved manager and the hiring of a guy who has a completely opposite philosophy. not to mention a nearly 12-month run of terrible away form, multiple aging players in the last year of their contract and a superstar “leader” who had been vocal about wanting out for six months. if anything i thought it was pretty anesthetized in terms of what was really going on behind closed doors.

No way Levy can afford the $300K per week in wages even if it's at 50% of Bale's current $600K per week.  For Christ sakes Harry makes just over $200K per week.

Also, Gio Lo Celso is questionable for Sunday along with Tanganga.

Not good. Not a lot of creativity in the midfield if Gio sits.

The Snoop Dogg commercial has been the best part of the first half so far.

Not a great half for Spurs. Son needs to play Harry in, not Dele.

fyi the sky stream without the fake crowd noise, once you get all of the ads/popups/hijacks whack-a-moled, only jumps a little every 30 seconds and has not frozen yet (knock on cyber).

Almost 60 seconds from my phone notifying me about the goal and actually seeing it.

Going to be a long season I'm afraid
