What about the stadium?  I assume right now few companies have the big cash for a stadium sponsorship.   That or Levy is just being shrewd and holding out for a huge naming fee.

I wouldn’t be shocked since our only two midfield players are PEH and Tanguay.

this is actually our best midfield pairing.

They are, and that’s a problem.
Rumors coming out that Eriksen might return. Definitely need more creativity out of our midfield.

The Eriksen rumors should be tempered a little. Word is that wages are a problem for a loan deal.

dont disagree on needing more creativity but ndombele is capable of providing this from a defensive position. the “problem” is further up the pitch, but i think tactics have as much to do with talent.

A little of both?

Levy has said he wants the largest naming fee in the world. Given the profile of the EPL + how often Spurs are on TV, it is a possibility.

As far as money, I think it's less companies having it (they do), but more of the disposable income in an uncertain economic outlook. Spending the money that Spurs are looking for, RIGHT NOW, is kind of hard to justify as opposed to when COVID clears up.

The Wycobe manager looks like a roadie for a 80's british punk band

That is where a team like Wycombe will always be dangerous - a set play coming off a throw in. They cause some disarray and capitalize.

Come on Bale

Yeah, not a fan of him in the starting 11 today.

Holy shit this dude is freaking huge

Akinfenwa was with the squad when they played Tottenham 3 years ago. And he was the guy they showed when they celebrated their promotion last year.

good results all around today. taking all three points tomorrow would be massive, so i fully expect 'pool to break out of their EPL goal scoring drought.
