April 11, 20214 yr On both goals, Rodon was WAY playing Cavani on. Dier is always going to be left out to dry if the back line isn’t disciplined.
April 11, 20214 yr More to the point - Spurs are now hemorrhaging shots. They gave up 1 in the first half and now 9 in the 2nd. Sissoko doesn’t play to what they did in the first half which was good.
April 11, 20214 yr Should have never had proper possession after the drop ball. Cavani pressured hugo. Shitty Etiquette
April 11, 20214 yr Mourinho keeps acting like we can hang back and protect a lead despite us being unable to do so all season. Edited April 11, 20214 yr by Schulz2.0
April 11, 20214 yr Mou has to go. He’s lost it. What worked in the first half was stopped for pure defending which failed the whole half cost them the lead and the game. And not just today. This has been the whole season. That’s poor coaching and not sustainable. Edited April 11, 20214 yr by Captain Ron
April 16, 20214 yr Author Maybe Poch knew what he was talking about when he said that the team needed a reset, and it was time to start a new project.
April 16, 20214 yr 3 minutes ago, Captain Ron said: This defense is comically bad. Better put a 3rd CB and Sissoko out there! Also, these subs are idiotic. I feel like Jose is daring Levy to sack him.
April 16, 20214 yr 6 minutes ago, Captain Ron said: This defense is comically bad. Not as bad as that though.
April 16, 20214 yr Author Lamela should be starting every match. He’s making things happen when he gets on the pitch, more so than any other mid-fielder.

April 16, 20214 yr Well after watching the replay again, that looked bad on his right ankle. I would be surprised if he plays against Southampton.

April 16, 20214 yr The only positive thing to come of this season so far is Hojbjerg and hopefully Kane winning the golden boot. If city start their womens team in the Carabao cup we might have a chance. Otherwise what a complete beating of a season

I would also argue that this injury is due to Mou playing for the point. Giving up so much possession lead to the corner Kane was hurt on.
April 17, 20214 yr Author So, with Jose’s job looking more precarious each week, rank your most desired managers to replace him. I’d say Nagelsmann, Rodgers, then NES. Among those being rumored so far.

Among those being rumored so far. I think Nagelsmann is incredibly unlikely. I'm not sure Rodgers would see us an a more appealing job and he'd command a pretty high salary. NES doesn't do a lot for me. I don't think his preferred style suits our talent as well either. I like Graham Potter as an under the radar guy.

Nagelsmann to Bayern? Edited April 17, 20214 yr by midtown
April 17, 20214 yr Author Nagelsmann most likely at Bayern. Comes down to Rodgers or NES. Maybe a dark horse appears. It’s too soon for Scott Parker, but one day he will come to manage Spurs.
