In the past, I'd assume these players are jumping on just to grab a spot, and then the attractive ones will trade up when higher P5 offers become available. The counter argument may be that this coaching staff is so tight with the community that they could hang on to guys that would usually flip to bigger name schools. This feels like Rhule at Baylor - try and grab a bunch of kids with great athleticism whose best football is in the future and lock them in before the big programs notice. 100% worked for Rhule.
