September 19, 20205 yr Author huge win! i can't remember the last time we started an EPL campaign with 6 points after two matches. you can still see how badly we need Aouar, but the fact that we found a way to get the second goal and then hold the lead is huge. COYG!! 🔴⚪️

Oh, and fuck you nbc for putting the Liverpool match on that fucking Peacock
September 20, 20205 yr Nice win fellas we will take the sloppy 3 points and I spent yesterday morning getting Peacock all set up... pain in the ass

September 23, 20205 yr I was listening to the Football Show this morning and they said Ozil is still on the team. Who knew?
September 24, 20205 yr I was listening to the Football Show this morning and they said Ozil is still on the team. Who knew?We should loan him to a team in a 3rd world shithole for no fee until he decides to cancel his contract or until it ends.
September 24, 20205 yr Author i don't think there's a place in the team for him as long as we're playing with our current formation. 3 ATB + 2 wide players; two CM's with defensive responsibilities; two wingers; a striker. there's just no position that he fits within that structure. it could be that simple.
September 28, 20205 yr COYG! A point would be big today. Oh, and fuck the fuck off, NBC, you stupid fucking motherfuckers. Fuck you in your motherfuckin goat ass.
September 28, 20205 yr Couldn’t watch (fuck off, NBC) but did follow along with a few MBMs. Most previous Arsenal sides would’ve capitulated after Liverpool went ahead and lost 4 or 5-1. This side battled the whole way and had a few good chances to level. Their third apparently was a handball that VAR missed. All losses suck, but we look to be improved over last year, and most importantly in the “intestinal fortitude” department. Edited September 28, 20205 yr by Dutch
October 2, 20205 yr Great win at Anfield finally. Leno is the MOTM, he shut Liverpool down and we won it on penalties. Too many wanted Martinez but Leno is our starter in the net. Love that confident smile. Edited October 2, 20205 yr by TexasBuckeye
October 4, 20205 yr Author Romano confirma that talks between Arsenal and Lyon as done. No Aouar move will be made. we have until tomorrow to bring in some reinforcements this window.
October 4, 20205 yr Author big three points today. Pepé with the instant impact goal was awesome. COYG 🔴⚪️ also- Guendo on loan to Hertha Berlin
October 5, 20205 yr Let's hope the Partey deal gets finalized (finally). We've been missing a Gilberto-type MF for quite a while. I was fearing we'd let the window close without strengthening the squad, so this is very welcome news.
October 6, 20205 yr Most fans fault Kroenke for being an absentee owner, not wanting or willing to put any of his money into the club. But I suspect he wanted to see if the club, and Arteta could fix the club, make the right decisions, and the hard ones to turn the club around. Well, they got the job done as well as possible. This article strongly suggests Kroenke saw they did, and he came up with the money for Partey's release clause. The club didn't have the $59 million for this, so I strongly agree with the article. Did Kroenke sanction the Party deal to keep Arteta at Arsenal?

October 8, 20205 yr https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54464179 Ozil "update" Edited October 8, 20205 yr by Bullneck
October 8, 20205 yr It is clear that Ozil will never play another minute for Arsenal. Which leaves two questions to be answered. What did Ozil ever say/do to Arteta to be put in this doghouse? And why won't he agree to go to another team and actually play the sport he lives for? I actually really like the guy and think he is still one of the premier players in England, but I have gotten tired of all the stories on a player we never see play anymore.

I actually really like the guy and think he is still one of the premier players in England, but I have gotten tired of all the stories on a player we never see play anymore. I don't think it is necessarily a problem with Arteta. There have been photos/videos from recent trainings where it looks like Arteta and Ozil are on good terms. I assume there are appearance/performance bonuses built into Ozil's contract that the club just doesn't want to pay . . . otherwise the whole situation makes no sense at all.
October 14, 20205 yr Author Emery, Freddie, and Arteta now have all three independently had Ozil in the dog house, so there must be something there. That said, Ozil doesn't want to leave because he and his wife love London and he's making insane money to live there and train. my guess is he goes to Turkey for 2-3 years after this, and then maybe wraps up his career in the MLS.
October 15, 20205 yr They should really just drop Ozil from the roster so he can't train with the team and keep his skills up. He can either cancel his contract and sign elsewhere or continue to collect an Arsenal check while his skills slide.
October 17, 20205 yr I’ve been optimistic about this match and not only because it is on NBC and not their Peacock bullshit. Lineup: Leno, Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Ceballos, Xhaka, Saka, Willian, Pepe, Aubameyang. Partey named as a sub. City are without De Bruyne but Agüero returns. I’m feeling optimistic...2-1 to The Arsenal. GOYG!!! Edited October 17, 20205 yr by Dutch
October 19, 20205 yr That was just a lackluster game, boring. They didn't try hard at attacking, and City wasn't much better. Tough 1-0 loss. Leno needs to catch the ball and not just bat it away.
