Sucks because he's such a talent but he lost his cool and is waaaaay too experienced to lose his chill like that. I mean, hit the ball into the stands (nobody is there). Smash your racket (you're rich you can afford to get another custom made stick for $1500). Do ANYTHING other than that dude.

September 7, 20205 yr Kontaveit is cute. Unfortunately for her, Osaka's game is just a better version of hers

September 7, 20205 yr Just tuned in, can’t tell if Serena has let down her guard and concentration or if Sakkari has responded, but one thing I do know, man Sakkari is chiseled. Made me put down the box of goldfish. Yikes.
September 7, 20205 yr She’s got great power too. Her back hand down the line after a deep cross court is sick.
September 7, 20205 yr This Serena v Sakkari match is following the same script as their match 2 weeks ago. Serena takes the first set, Sakkari takes the 2nd in a tiebreaker, and lets see what happens in the 3rd set but Sakkari cruised in the 3rd set last time. September 7, 20205 yr “Fitness isn’t going to be an issue (for Serena).” -Chris Evert ...then Patrick McEnroe comments on Serena’s heavy breathing between points. Then Chrissy notices and acknowledges how loud it is. 🙄

September 7, 20205 yr holy smokes. she's young, she's going to be good. I think her build/strength is the future of women's tennis, kind of like when Tiger was dominate the men's golfer prototype changed from a little pudgy to ripped. The williams sisters have required more from their competitors and the next dominant champion will be more like them than past champions. Edited September 7, 20205 yr by troph

September 7, 20205 yr I think you may be right. Cornet takes the tie break with Pironkova making several unforced errors

Only 6 years older than Serena, which is kind of crazy because it seems like its been ages since Capriati was relevant. Not a huge Serena fan, but watching her blast 125 mph serves in the 3rd set at age 38 is pretty impressive. She's a f'n tank.
September 7, 20205 yr Yeah Serena is annoying as hell but she is a freak of nature. She’s too heavy but still dominant.

September 7, 20205 yr Pironkova pulls through to face Serena next. I think Serena will overpower her but Pironkova could frustrate Serena with her defense
September 7, 20205 yr They (ESPN2) just showed a clip of Kenin warming up on a practice court in a crop-top and Capri-pant length yoga pants and ...👀...👀 She’s tightened up that body over the lockdown.
