(Watched most of the Lexington tournament and some of the “Cincinnati in NY” tourney.) Would be psyched to see Brady win it all, because today Putintseva got her ass handed to her, and when Putintseva is involved, that’s a meaty task.

The way Brady hits her forehand it's more like the guys than any other woman on the tour. I hope takes it too.

September 9, 20205 yr Author Damn, Serena/Pironkova is at 11 am tomorrow, Vika/Mertens at 6. That’s very unlike ESPN.
September 9, 20205 yr Imagine this match if Ashe was full. With apologies to that Mason guy from ISU, it would be the definition of "lit."
September 9, 20205 yr This game is such a breath of fresh air after watching Coric and Zverev stumble through their match. Transfixing stuff.

September 9, 20205 yr Pirinkova currently showing Serena that it’s important to be fit and being a mom is no excuse

That’s literally the ONE benefit of being a heavier tennis player. You can create more power and speed on your serve. Now more than ever Serena is reliant on her serve to get her through matches
September 10, 20205 yr Alright let me tune into this Vika v. Mertens match I'm sure it's just getting star.......oh its over

September 10, 20205 yr Serena and Vika play TOMORROW. Vika will certainly be more fresh after playing just 13 games while Serena played a 3 setter

WONDERING... What is the record for fewest games played in a (2nd) Wednesday Night doubleheader session? Between Azarenka & Thiem, this night has whizzed by.
September 10, 20205 yr Apparently De Minaur was only mostly dead. He held and then broke back... And then has held after being down 0-40. Edited September 10, 20205 yr by Napoleon
September 10, 20205 yr De Minaur's ceiling is Michael Chang. He has little power but fantastic wheels. He really needs to lose the Hitler stache though.
September 11, 20205 yr Author Good first set, not a great breaker. Tennis, Stars, NFL, remote’s gonna get a workout.
September 11, 20205 yr Woman should be paid the same as the men at all events except for Best 3 out of 5 tournaments. The money predominantly comes from advertising and if men’s matches average 3.75 sets and women’s matches average ~2.50 (my guess at the moment), so men are working much more for the same money. I wish that this was the final.
September 11, 20205 yr I wouldn't consider breaking off into their own tour as"protest". All they did was prove that they have a quality product that people want to watch. Edited September 11, 20205 yr by ajax
September 11, 20205 yr Jennifer Brady is going to win a major by the end of 2022. I don’t know if it will be on Saturday, later this month, next year...??? I think that Naomi is the only player who can beat her anymore, unless she beats herself. She is just so good. But Naomi is just a little better.
September 11, 20205 yr Someone tell Brady that Osaka is going wide when serving on the deuce. Every time. Edited September 11, 20205 yr by ajax
September 11, 20205 yr That "OUT" call to break Jen totally broke Jen. I have always wanted machines to call things in Tennis & Baseball. People work too hard for an entire lifetime to lose because of a. fat older human* making a fucking mistake, especially when they don't even need to be there. *I'm beginning to resemble this description.
