Agreed, and I don't even like Dallas.

That Naggar can kick.

Naggar please. It was only 31 yards.

I was hoping these announcers would screw up the kicker's name and end their careers.

Severely depleted starting lineup as well. Doesn’t bode well for SMU, they’re probably looking at a 4 or 5 loss season.

Yeah they don't suck ass. We probably should have won this by 4 touchdowns, though.

You know as well as me that they struggled on PAT’s last year!

I think Texas State is pretty improved and it looks like the experienced QB for SMU is not paying off like I thought it would probably because of changes at other positions

the SMU defense needs some work, but I think they will still win a lot of games

Eh. We had games like this last year. This is a pretty similar team with probably a slightly higher ceiling. I seriously doubt we go 5-5 - 6-4 would be a pretty bad result. Our schedule is always pretty soft.

(Looks like we play 11 games, 12 if TCU gets put back on the schedule. I'm struggling to find 5 losses there. Memphis, Cincy, Navy, maybe TCU and who?)

If they don’t repeatedly step on their dicks they have 52 points right now.

SMU will play much better than this opener.

shit that was ugly but had a lot of distance

I know the game is probably done for, but getting your kicker a kick like that early in the season can help

They covered the spread which is impressive. If you bet against the spread you won some money today.

Tevin Mims is Outside LB coach for Texas St.    Please refresh my memory on his brief career at Texas,   Doing well,  got his Masters.

Mims went to South Florida after helping lead Navarro to a Southwest Junior College Championship in 2011. He went to Navarro after playing four games as a freshman at Texas.
