You look at UTEP over there and it's just all about the tradition of getting a hanje on the mountaintop.

Wonder why Brennan has not stepped up more this offseason?

Go read Fatties twitter coverage of the presser if you want to know where he stands... how the hell does he have credentials still?

Just one innuendo pot stirring remark after another... #FCB and #FGK

Their freshman RB Hankins could be their next Aaron Jones. Both played their HSFB in El Paso. He's probably the only offensive threat UTEP has at this point

And people get upset when Herman refuses to list players that have performed well in camp. This is why he does it.

Is that list generated by our SID? Couldn't spell Atascocita correctly, eh?

Tyler Johnson also went to Conroe High and on special teams Joshua Moore is apparently from Cuero. SIDs always have a couple typos in the first game.

Is it just me or does the depth chart feel really young?

A young depth chart is not always bad as long as it’s not at the QB or offensive line.

Huh? The vast majority of our starters/backups that will see significant snaps are third year or higher. This roster is pretty experienced/old as far as college rosters go.

Huh?  19 of our 2 deep are So. or younger.  That is almost half of our 2 deep.

and 8 of our 12 OL's listed are Soph or younger and 2 of our 3 QB's are Soph or younger.

Not saying it's good or bad here.  Just listing observations.

You're gliding right over the "that will see significant snaps" part of this adventure

Ummmmmm, we are in the middle of COVID and this sport lends itself to an injury occasionally.  15 of 22 starting spots are 1 snap away from a Soph or younger playing all the snaps.

It's a significant data point.

With attrition, the roster for every CFB team is usually skewed towards having more players in their first 3 years of eligibility. I'd only be concerned if a large number of upperclassmen were passed up.

Most of those guys are redshirt sophomores, i.e. upperclassmen. They shouldn’t be considered inexperienced. Most teams would kill to have a four-star backup QB in his third year in the program.

Idk what you expect, but I doubt you pay attention to what college rosters look like. 19/21 starters are third years or older, plus both the kicker and punter, and that includes a 4th year starting QB. The vast majority of the backups are at least second years. That’s about as experienced of a roster as you’ll find in a team that brings in high level talent. Between early entrants and guys transferring if they don’t start pretty early, teams aren’t ever going to have a two deep full of upperclassmen.

We have an experienced roster this year compared to most other college programs.

Game week player presser.

Masks on the sideline? What about when someone needs to communicate to the players?
