Well, that fucking blows. It sounds like they are trying to go the Fanduel route and do legal gambling in the states that allow it.

So for those of us in Texas and other ass-backwards states, what's your go-to online book now?

Already moved to betonline.ag cuz 5dimes sucks, but I still have one drunked prop bet pending that won't close until someone resigns (no CR):

"1 AM  Politics Other Sports  54004 Donald Trump not President on 1/20/21 +334* vs Donald Trump is President on 1/20"

Any word if you have a futures bet that won't get resolved by the deadline? I'm planning to ask their support staff but I was curious if anyone knew the answer here.

5dimes is the only online sportsbook I have experience with, and overall no complaints with them.  Any other recommendations for alternate sites?

Betonline.ag is pretty transparent. Pretty active on social media about handling gripes/problems.

They’re telling me that they’re cancelling all future bets for Americans. Timing unknown.

The most reliable offshore book for American players has to be Bookmaker.eu.  Betonline.ag is also a reliable option for withdrawals.

Looks like HOTB was correct: 5dimes is "onshoring".

Any of these new sites have a user-friendly app?

DM me and anyone else that needs a new site I’ve got a good one that pays every Tuesday.

Alright, so football is back and I'm getting the itch. Was there a consensus for a good alternative similar to 5dimes? BetOnline? MyBookie?

I liked all their alternative lines they would give out/buy up to that sites like Bovada wouldn't do. Also was a fan of their pleasers and teasers for entertainment plays.

I’ve used sportsbook.ag for years and have no complaints.  Easy platform to use, nice reup bonuses and get paid in about 10 business days.  Will probably dump it after this football season though, in order to onshore, since it’ll be legal in AZ in a few weeks.

BetOnline is a pretty good option.

this site is an excellent overview of all the major sportsbooks.  https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sportsbooks-industry/

Has a very good discussion forum and this ratings list https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-sites/

btw, only a handful of US states have legalized online betting.  So how do they know if you are in TX and cannot bet? They use software "GeoComply" which pinpoints your location.  I've tried and cannot defeat this.  Anyone been successful?

On another question... anyone use Bitcoin to deposit or payout? Does using that ensure complete anonymity?

I am starting to wonder if the Texas Leg, getting another 1.5 years off to meet again is maybe a good thing regarding sportsbetting being made legal.

every single pre game show talks about the lines and options... and everyone of them is sponsored by draftkings or MGM or one of the other sportsbooks.

thats 2 full seasons of their constituents asking why Billy bob from Sinton cant put $50 down on the Focusedness of Tom Brady or some shit.

2 full seasons

where the college games start 2 weeks before the pros, and then the pros doing 18 weeks reg season, and another 5 weeks of playoffs.

that gives football 25 straight weeks of betting chances.  effectively half the damn year.

at some point they have to get sick of being asked about it
