Valet at the hotel was slow and he was running late. Who knows. I know its early and who knows but if some of his team are trying to pin this on some hotel valet that is some bullshit. call and tell them you, Tiger F'n Woods, will be late if they don't like it fuck off.

A broken leg actually isn't the worst thing to come back from, but I can't imagine what rehab is like when it's BOTH of your legs. It's going to take him awhile to walk again let alone play golf. Just terrible. He may have been close to done anyway but not a great way to go out if this is the nail in the coffin.

February 23, 20214 yr I played golf today so this hits close to home. Also, is it some federal law that any time the jaws of life are used, it has to be announced? Have you ever seen a situation where the JoL were used and it wasn't announced?
February 23, 20214 yr So, one time I ran into a snow bank, and my truck’s alignment got ducked up, and then my dad jumped behind the wheel to “show me how to drive in the snow” and he ran it into the other snow bank but the alignment got fixed- cancelled itself out. Hopefully that’s what happens with this wreck and Tigers back. this is not how the third act is supposed to go.
February 23, 20214 yr TMZ Sports reporting Tiger was seen speeding from a nearby hotel just before the crash.

On one hand, yeah. On the other hand, who knows. Medicine is starting to get really crazy with stuff like this. Durant tore his achilles which can be a death sentence for NBA guys and he looks as good as ever. Tiger will get the best treatment in the world if he wants it.

February 24, 20214 yr Hogan sustained a broken collarbone, a smashed rib, a broken ankle, a double fracture of the pelvis, bladder injuries, and deep contusions to his left leg. Hogan was rushed to an El Paso hospital where doctors feared the legend would not live, and that if he did, he might never walk again. Hogan developed blood clots that reached his lungs. The doctors performed abdominal surgery and tied off the main vein to his leg to prevent further blood clots from reaching his heart. A second clot was discovered, and Hogan was operated on again. Geez...1940s medicine.... The first tournament Hogan played after coming back? The LA Open at.....Riviera I know, he was 8 years younger than Tiger is now, and Tiger has nothing left to prove to anyone, but let's hope he recovers enough to enjoy golf with his son
February 24, 20214 yr LOS ANGELES — Tiger Woods is “awake, responsive and recovering” after undergoing emergency surgery following a car accident on Tuesday morning, according to an update posted by Woods’ camp. The statement, released on Woods’ social channels, confirms that Woods was involved in a single-car accident this morning in Los Angeles before providing a detailed update on Woods' condition.“Mr. Woods suffered significant orthopaedic injuries to his right lower extremity that were treated during emergency surgery by Orthopaedic trauma specialists at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center,” said Anish Mahajan, chief medical officer and interim CEO at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, as part of the update.“Comminuted open fractures affecting both the upper and lower portions of the tibia and fibula bones were stabilized by inserting a rod into the tibia. Additional injuries to the bones of the foot and ankle were stabilized with a combination of screws and pins. Trauma to the muscle and soft-tissue of the leg required surgical release of the covering of the muscles to relieve pressure due to swelling.”Comminuted fractures refers to bone fragments or splinters. The statement concludes: “There are no further updates at this time and we continue to thank you for your well-wishes and privacy for him and his family.”
February 24, 20214 yr So he also caused another accident? Let’s here from Tiger fans about he isn’t on drugs?
February 24, 20214 yr Seems pretty gruesome. In a statement posted to Tiger's Twitter account at 12:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Dr. Anish Mahajan, the chief medical officer and interim CEO of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, said Woods suffered comminuted open fractures -- bones that were broken into more than two pieces and with breaks in the skin -- in the upper and lower portions of the tibia and fibula of his right leg. Ooops, sorry for the double post Edited February 24, 20214 yr by PittsburghTiger

However, it was 7-7:30 AM, how early would he have had to take some pills to make him unable to drive properly at 7? Could it have been residual from some pills he took the night before? I have no idea. Either way, he's damn lucky he didn't hit anyone else.
February 24, 20214 yr 6 minutes ago, 4th&Five said: Welp, case closed. Yeah guys, it was an accident! That means there is nothing that he could possibly be charged with. Just like when you accidentally kill someone there's nothing you can be charged with. Or when you accidentally cut off three of your fingers with a band saw your fingers regrow automagically since it wasn't on purpose.

February 24, 20214 yr Officially LE/DA not charging him. Yet plenty of sites are saying they didn’t even test (ie get a SW for blood). Other sites saying he was agitated and in a hurry since he needed to be at an event by 7:30 and almost ran into a directors car when he was leaving the resort he was staying at right before the crash. Other sites saying that he looked basically fried/out of it/on something the day before the crash during his interview with Jim Nantz. I shouldn’t have posted earlier that he was definitely on something and in no way does he deserve these gruesome injuries. However I find it highly unlikely that he was not in a variety of substances. He’s had like 5 back surgeries in 5 years basically and his 2017 DUI he was on 5 different substances to manage pain. No way he’s not addicted to them. He never went to rehab as far as we know and those substances he had in his system on 2017 ( Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) ) can all impair your driving ability. He very well could have been clean and sober but I highly doubt it. He looked so awful during the Jim Nantz interview. I am sorry though for his injuries. It would be sad indeed not to have him in golf.

But to say they aren't/can't press any charges because it was an accident is ridiculous. If he was DUI he was DUI. It doesn't matter what happened to him or the car or whether he hit anything or not. It's illegal in itself and he could have easily hit and killed or injured someone else.
