  • Should have gone with the driver.

  • DeChambeau is such a douchebag. Blamed bad breaks, the wind changing up on him a couple of times and a couple other excuses for leaving six shots out there. Said he could've easily shot 9-under even i

Spieth is making it interesting. Nothing easy.

Mofo is bringing the magic today

Wonder if that’s where he aimed or if he missed right

Looked to me like that’s where he was aimed. We will find out after the round.

He did it!!!

Not quite doing it. Still has 70 yards in. He had plenty to get there but right was clearly the place to miss. But God damn good on him for going for it in the tourney.

346 yards in the air, 370 total

Agreed. Kind of a douche, but entertaining as well.

I mean I guess it’s cool, but he still missed the green with a wedge in his hand and carded the same score as someone going driver, 5 iron, putt, putt.

He uses a 5 degree driver. Put that in my hands and there would be a lot of headless worms left on the course.

Hits it to 36 feet from 120 out...I could've done that.

Makes the putt.  I couldn't have done that.

Bryson had to show his ticket to get back on the course after that shot

absolutely in the zone. if he can maintain this it will be nice to see if he can take the next step in a final round.

You stick your arms up in the air like that it better be headed right at the pin.

I don't know. he cut off a ton. it was pretty damn risky and he pulled it off.

Spieth rolling it

Indeed

Hey did you know that Sam Saunders is Arnold Palmer's grandson?

Lee Westwood sighting

Hasn't played this #16 par 5 well, but still a birdie attempt upcoming for Spieth...

Good par save attempt for Spieth just missed on #17.

Needs a good #18 to feel better about going into tomorrow -- par or better Jordan, C'mon!!!

just mind boggling Jordan can't figure out how to hit driver

Spieth with a crazy round shoots -4  (68)

-9 after three rounds keeps him in the hunt for tomorrow's final round -- currently 2 back of the leader (Westwood)

Fun to watch but needs to hit the driver tomorrow more like he did yesterday. Can’t count on aces and 40 footers tomorrow.

If you’re going to act like a dumbass about this, just keep it moving. Find a better record by a player there since he’s been on tour. 2,1,2,11,3,21,46 are his finishes. Avg. Finish is 12th the last 7 years. So yeah, he’s fond of the place.

Winning at Augusta is fucking hard. I don't care what he finished 5, 6, 7 years ago. I'd like to see him close out a regular tour stop before calling him the favorite at the Masters which seems like what you're suggesting.

I’m not suggesting anything other than he’s trending towards contending. With the way he putts there, if the rest of his game is halfway decent he’s among the favorites.

Agree... gotta hit the driver better, and his approach shots too.

(Jordan was off on a few iron shots on the back 9 today.)

Hitting fairways at Augusta isn't as important because there really isn't a rough. While it would be good to see him win, he's put up low numbers at ANGC in recent years and he can do it again. Without a doubt he is one of the favorites in 2021.

Yeah, Augusta is such a different type of course where feel and creativity often come more into play.   It tends to be more forgiving of Jordan's inaccuracy off the tee, and favor his talents in both the short game and putting on faster greens.

It's interesting that several Masters Champions have never won any of the other Majors...

With how he’s trending right now I don’t doubt he can be in contention going into Sunday at The Masters. Not convinced he can finish yet though. Plus he has some demons on 12 to deal with...

Yeah, don't forget Tiger on #12... Hit 3 shots in the water  😋
