March 6, 20214 yr Wonder if that’s where he aimed or if he missed rightLooked to me like that’s where he was aimed. We will find out after the round.

March 6, 20214 yr They just said it carried 346 yards so would have barely made the green if he aimed right at it

March 6, 20214 yr I mean I guess it’s cool, but he still missed the green with a wedge in his hand and carded the same score as someone going driver, 5 iron, putt, putt.Â
March 6, 20214 yr He uses a 5 degree driver. Put that in my hands and there would be a lot of headless worms left on the course.Â
March 6, 20214 yr Hits it to 36 feet from 120 out...I could've done that. Makes the putt. I couldn't have done that.

March 6, 20214 yr absolutely in the zone. if he can maintain this it will be nice to see if he can take the next step in a final round.

March 6, 20214 yr Hasn't played this #16 par 5 well, but still a birdie attempt upcoming for Spieth...
March 6, 20214 yr Good par save attempt for Spieth just missed on #17. Needs a good #18 to feel better about going into tomorrow -- par or better Jordan, C'mon!!!
March 6, 20214 yr Spieth with a crazy round shoots -4Â (68) -9 after three rounds keeps him in the hunt for tomorrow's final round -- currently 2 back of the leader (Westwood)
March 6, 20214 yr Fun to watch but needs to hit the driver tomorrow more like he did yesterday. Can’t count on aces and 40 footers tomorrow.Â

Find a better record by a player there since he’s been on tour. 2,1,2,11,3,21,46 are his finishes. Avg. Finish is 12th the last 7 years. So yeah, he’s fond of the place. Winning at Augusta is fucking hard. I don't care what he finished 5, 6, 7 years ago. I'd like to see him close out a regular tour stop before calling him the favorite at the Masters which seems like what you're suggesting.Â

With the way he putts there, if the rest of his game is halfway decent he’s among the favorites.Â

While it would be good to see him win, he's put up low numbers at ANGC in recent years and he can do it again. Without a doubt he is one of the favorites in 2021.

Yeah, Augusta is such a different type of course where feel and creativity often come more into play.  It tends to be more forgiving of Jordan's inaccuracy off the tee, and favor his talents in both the short game and putting on faster greens. It's interesting that several Masters Champions have never won any of the other Majors...Â
March 7, 20214 yr With how he’s trending right now I don’t doubt he can be in contention going into Sunday at The Masters. Not convinced he can finish yet though. Plus he has some demons on 12 to deal with...
