Me and my cousin came home drunk one night and put this movie in. Within 15min my cousin looks at me and says "wanna go to the boats?", that was all i needed to hear.

Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness.  Bruce Campbell, demons, and booze are the tits.

The Big Lebowski.

That’s interesting, man.  That’s fucking interesting.

When I am hammered, I tend to look for movies that have no plot and no explosions.  Mainly movies I have seen multiple times.

Back in the day, Clockwork Orange was my go to.  But Pee Wee's Playhouse was also in the rotation.

Not sure which is more haunting.

Predator 1 and 2

predator is one of the greatest pieces of cinema ever produced.

predator 2 is a late-term coat-hanger abortion.

P2 is packed with solid Danny Glover / Gary Busey 90s cheesy goodness.

The Bank Dick. WC Fields is a genius. His every line is a joke or a setup to a joke.

I'm a married man with a grown daughter - eighteen years of age.

Oh? I'd like to meet her. I'm very fond of children. Girl children. Around 18 or 20 years old.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes...

(bonus)

Basket Case...

For me, it's a Christmas tradition to get drunk and pass out watching Christmas vacation.

Other than that I like watching disaster movies.  Armageddon, day after tomorrow,

I went through a phase like that with Training Day.

Some good entries already. I’ll add Super troopers or euro trip. It’s always a plus when there are boobs

Dodgeball  ....   so many great one liners

Not the best plot, but we watched Valarian a couple of weeks ago and imo it’s legit eye candy for the buzzed. Total trip.

Roadhouse

Came here to post this.

Sticking with OP's theme, I would suggest:

The Matrix 1999 is a good one to watch drunk.

Commando

Samurai Cop

Mad Max Fury Road

Hot Fuzz

Taken

Deadpool

The Rock

Fifth Element

Collateral

Casino Royale

In college, I passed out drunk with a dip in and Pure Country in the DVD player more times than I can count.

I’ve watched Lebowski drunk so many times I can just about quote the entire film, every character.

Lock Stock

JFK.  When watched drunk, it is a true comedy. (I mean c’mon, a cast including Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon is no doubt anyway)

Dances With Wolves  (I’d have to be drunk to be out there on the prairie with a wolf for a friend)

Red Dawn (the only red dawn)

Attack of the Clones becomes a comedic masterpiece when drunk.  I won’t even label it part of the series.

I’m a fan of watching traditional, campy ass horror movies. Classics like Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare are all good. But then toss in cheesy shit like Sleepaway Camp and Evil Dead etc. I enjoy drunk shit talking the characters as they make poor decisions to get themselves killed.

Why the original scream is great. Makes fun of the characters in movies while their dumb asses are doing the exact same things

  • Caddyshack
  • Three Amigos
  • Hot Tub Time Machine
  • Christmas Vacation
  • Fandango
  • Aliens
  • All the John Wick movies
  • Dazed and Confused
  • Empire Strikes Back
  • BOB
  • Fury
  • Joe Dirt

We had a weekly poker game at my house for years in the late 2000's.  We pretty much rotated Anchorman, Snatch and The Big Lebowski.  Always did the trick.

I've watched Everything, Everywhere All At Once both sober and buzzed. I 'get' that movie sober, but I enjoy it a lot more when buzzed if that makes sense. But rep to the poster who listed John Wick on page 1. I'll watch those movies anytime but they're awesome with a nice cocktail in hand.

Im not sure what is wrong with me but mine and my wife's is Interstellar.

Meh you're probably right, I used to watch a clockwork orange at the end of drunken nights and would be initially intrigued only to fall asleep within 10 mins.
