Inorite? Goodell called and forced McCarthy to stupidly go for it instead of kicking the game-tying field goal earlier in the fourth.

Well yeah, but what do we do after week 5?

Here's a good explanation for the 4th down call.  Dak's fault for throwing short?  Nope.  Lamb's fault for running it too shallow?  Not really.  It's a backup TE.

  • so strange to see Lamb catch a pass and not run for 60 yards

Fucking clown call but the Cowboys had plenty of chances to put themselves in better position to win this game.

Rams sure have played mistake free for the first game of the season after almost no camp and no preseason.

Goff looked pretty bad at times. He also got away with only having to throw short passes and the cowboys press defense got burned by it even knowing it's coming. Their defensive backs will be their undoing unless they get a lot better

Lol, Jason Garrett may as well have never left. We made all the same stupid mistakes tonight that we've made over the last few years.

Or gailey. Or campo.

I mean cmon Mike. The game planning shit isn’t even that hard

Of course not. I even said so. That was a bad miss. Dallas has had that same exact play not called for Dak several times over the years. Hey plays get missed.

But a bad miss on them shouldn’t mean we get one too.

That one also didn’t decide the damned game.

how do you know? If they call the blow to the face it's 15 yards and the Rams are probably scoring instead of Dallas.

Wait can you review pass interference in this Mickey mouse league?

You can’t make a call like that to essentially end the game... still doesn’t take away from the fact that we’re just not a very good team.

We’ll draft in the Top 5 in 2021

Only because it was on bitch ass Ramsey, refs gave him star treatment. That was not a fucking push off that warranted a OPI. I give up.

that was a horrible, horrible flag

Why does Dak believe he should be paid like a top 3 QB? He has the occasional great game, usually good or ok, too often mediocre. The spending on QBs is so out of control. You shouldn’t have to spend 25% of your salary cap on ok to good QBing.

i don't put this on the refs/league at all.  we're lucky it wasn't 35-17.  we self-fucked ourselves out of 10 points.

Get serious

And we only scored 17 points?

That looked like OPI in real time. Slow-mo made it appear questionable. Good call imo.

I’d make any bet at this point this won’t be true.

Difference is that the Stars are dragging their nuts across the ice every night and the Cowboys looked afraid to win tonight.

Sure. But that’s not what happened. It was end of the game with everything to be decided and the refs made a terrible call that was not needed that decided the game. Your point is not a good one.

Broken collarbone for LVE, he’s headed to IR

I have it on good authority (Saints) that you cannot call PI on the Rams.

He's really turned out to be the perfect replacement for Sean Lee.

Yeah, in the NBA the end of game used to be "swallow the whistle". In hockey OT they let em play, don't wanna have it end on a ticky tack power play. In the NFL it's the opposite, they take the game over.

I’ll say that it definitely looked like OPI when I saw it live. Seeing the replay though... not so much.

You knew the fucking refs were just waiting for the chance and they took it . Not one person in the booth thought it was Pi

Neutral opinion:

The OPI was soft and at a really bad time.

And the Cowboys got away with a blatant shot to Goff's face on a big interception earlier.

Bad calls happen.

The league is not, and never was, trying to screw over one of its biggest brands.  That's the weirdest conspiracy theory ever.

Sorry y'all lost.

Jezzus fucking Christ if it’s not egregiously blatant, let the players decide the game. I hate refs, I really do

he doesn't suck but he's easily replaceable if you make it a priority.

Alec Ogletree. Make it so.

Also show this when someone brings up the missed helmet call on Goff

I dont think it's coming from the league, because like you said, the NFL would make a fuckton of money from a Cowboys SB appearance, but the refs do seem to fuck with the Cowboys more than other teams. Maybe that isn't true at all, but just kind of the impression I've gotten over the past 5-6 seasons.

Practice squad. Signable.

Is there a “talented” Longhorn LB out there that Mack and Charlie coached into being an UDFA we could pick up since the Rams have a RB that fits that bill who just whipped our ass tonight

Sean Lee could be available after week 3.

Not unless they changed the rules. They can now add older veterans to a much larger PS, but as far as I know they are not protected.

4 players on the PS are protected this year.
