Here's a good explanation for the 4th down call.  Dak's fault for throwing short?  Nope.  Lamb's fault for running it too shallow?  Not really.  It's a backup TE.

  • so strange to see Lamb catch a pass and not run for 60 yards

I understand that some first down runs work. But they do not work enough to run it as much as we do. Ugh.

Don’t mind him, idiots like him and Futureman and other will blame Dak even if the wide receiver hands the ball to the defender for a turnover.

Maybe a bit better throw helps but it’s not picking up that yard. Not getting away from that tackle.

That was lamb running short of the sticks OR the playcalling itself(3rd and 6 run?!?)

3rd and 6 run was to get that easy 3 yd crossing route for the first down, only issue was it was 4 yds needed on 4th...

Jason Witten plays for the raiders? Wtf

#568

Yeah that’s not a turnover.

Stop it. And Cooper has to hold onto that.

Hey a good punt. Too bad they’re about the kill the entire clock.

Now I wish they had gone for the FG earlier.

Has there been a single throw more than 10 yards downfield tonight?

You serious? Have you watched the whole game? There were at least 2 in the 2 minute offense before half.

Yeah lol you right, it's gonna be game over if they can just run 10 dive plays for 5 yards each

he's right on cue.  4 35 yard punts then a 55 yarder to up the average.

Watch the ravens sometime. They are dominating by using analytics and going for it a shitload when the math makes sense. Was talked about all summer that McCarthy was an analytics guy.
