October 29, 20241 yr I know Sark likes to hit receivers on the move, but I wish the offense had a WR curl at 10-15 yards as a changeup or when they need some easy yards against man coverage.
October 29, 20241 yr Just want to say that DeAndre Moore is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. Team guy and works his ass off on the field. Plus he's legitimately a badass. Dude is gonna EAT next year with more targets. Edited October 29, 20241 yr by Hank Kingsley

I wish we ran more bubble screens. Almost all our quick passing attack is to the perimeter. Teams are not even accounting for Ewers to take off up the middle or bubble screens inside. It's a big reason teams are able to bring pressure with their LBs because we don't punish them in that area. If Ewers would just start taking the easy 5 to 10 yard scrambles it would completely eliminate teams blitzing with their inside LBers. Edited October 29, 20241 yr by Rickylovesweed

Looks like the staff is now trying to get Bolden more involved. He is just sitting 6th. He is not as big as Golden, Moore, or Wingo. He isnt faster than Bond, Wingo, Golden, or Bolden. Even in HS, he had a reputation for inconsistent hands.

It does, the big 3rd downs that both WIngo and Bolden had against Vandy were comeback routes, And Xavier Worthy routinely had deep 15 to 20 yard comeback routes.

Sark went after the NB on Vandy. He is "big" NB and Moore was an obvious mismatch. That was the focus of the gameplan. Explains why the outside WRs had quiet days.

I mean he started out great, 8 receptions, 17.1 average and 2 TD’s, now he’s disappeared. I don’t think talent is the issue but he had a couple bad drops. Edited October 31, 20241 yr by Hook1997
November 5, 20241 yr Author They ask Sark to break down some film on Texas offense in part of this video... good stuff
November 6, 20241 yr Author Hope Sark gets Gunnar more involved in offense again... Love video below 🤘
November 18, 20241 yr Author So how were the Razorbacks able to keep the Longhorns from producing the explosive plays that Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is always seeking even though Ewers did take some shots downfield? With the benefit of two weeks to prepare for the Horns after a 63-31 loss to the Rebels that featured Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart throwing for 515 yards and six touchdowns, the Hogs turned to the three-high safety defense popularized by Cyclones defensive coordinator Jon Heacock in one of the most important defensive innovations of this century. https://www.burntorangenation.com/2024/11/17/24298967/texas-longhorns-offense-quinn-ewers-passing-game-arkansas-razorbacks

Not sure about that , looked like he scooped it at the 5 and it was going to roll dead at 1” line. Took a nice hop and he had a little space. I didn’t mind that play. There was one earlier where he fielded the punt falling down that game me the widow maker. He looked banged up late in the game.

November 26, 20241 yr What an amazing progression over the course of his Texas career for Helm. I’ve loved his play but thought he’d end his career as a valuable roll player. Now he looks like a legit NFL starting TE candidate. I never realized how good his hands are. He catches everything.

December 6, 20241 yr Author Hopefully Sark changes/adds some routes for our WRs in SEC CCG... need more separation and obviously better Quinn!!! 🤘
December 25, 20241 yr Author We might be ok for ASU without Bond, but hope he's healthy if Texas gets to the semifinals...

January 11Jan 11 Thank you Silas Bolden. Idk how he went all year without a turnover. Miraculous. Always anxiety when he has the ball.

January 12Jan 12 Need to see more from Chris Jackson, personally. Very little attacking the ball in the air or using hands/body effectively from anyone not named Golden. Bond, Moore, Wingo just running out of control alligator arming, so frustrating to see.
