September 19, 20205 yr Reed's inability to hit a fairway is finally catching up with him a little bit.
September 19, 20205 yr Got a weird feeling Rory might win this. Rough doesn't seem to exist for Wolff atm. I bet he starts throwing some shots away as we get closer to the finish. And for god's sake, Azinger is fucking bad at his job.

If Wolff comes back to him he should be the favorite going into tomorrow imo. But 6 shots is still a lot.

September 19, 20205 yr Wolff has hit two fairways today and he’s about to shoot 65 or 66? Excuse me? Did I hear that stat right?
September 19, 20205 yr Jesus H deChump will you freaking out already? Resets the ball like five times, hate this douche

September 20, 20205 yr Think some of these 30ish year olds see Wolff and matsuyama and other real young guys already making noise in majors and start wondering if their window is already closing?

September 20, 20205 yr I don’t like Bryson. But I really enjoy watching him play. I think he’ll win tomorrow.
September 20, 20205 yr I think there’s something to this about not having a gallery that helps the young guys. We perhaps saw it at the PGA with Morikawa and now with Wolff here. Wonder if they’d have won and be 54-hole leader here is maybe easier when you don’t have the nerviness added by having a full, rowdy gallery.

Definitely easier when it feels like a college tourney out there.

One of them hasn't won on tour in 2 years. One of them hasn't won on tour in 3 years. Not sure how much of a window any of them had going into this week anyways.
September 20, 20205 yr Fowler had his chances. I think he’s gonna be iced out. He had top 5 finishes in all 4 majors in 2014. He got as high as #4 in the world rankings in 2016, I believe. He’s had a few more top 10 finishes since then. But now, I don’t see him being a factor. His peers have passed him and the youngsters are starting to, with Morikawa winning one and Wolff on the verge. Edited September 20, 20205 yr by Jive Turkey
September 20, 20205 yr Fowler might win win a couple more times in his career. As for Jordan, at least he racked up his wins early because he might never get another.
September 20, 20205 yr Here we go. Ready to lay my ass a round and watch golf all day. Mix in the Cowboys game and I’m set. Hoping the kid holds off Bryson and Reed. Edit: forgot Reed had a terrible back 9 yesterday.

September 20, 20205 yr There's no reason to ruin your day like that. I agree yet I do it year in and year out. Every year it’s “our year” and every year we struggle. Wouldn’t be as fun if I was a Pats fan.
September 20, 20205 yr Didn’t hear about this at all yesterday. Danny Lee has a breakdown on 18 and then withdraws.
September 20, 20205 yr Liverpool v. Chelsea just started. When this ends, I’ll flip on the Cowboys to see what’s up. But the US Open will get most of my attention until it’s over.

Can’t believe NBC can’t find a network to put the Liverpool match on. Hate how they’re shoving Peacock down our throats.
