April 23, 20241 yr Potential fifth string OSU RB Dallan Hayden is the latest pick up. 660 yds, 6 TDs, 5 ypc over two years. Meh.

April 23, 20241 yr Saw on Reddit their season opener with North Dakota State has been moved to the Thursday night prime time spot in week 1. This feels like a very high potential for early week 1 lulz.

April 23, 20241 yr I have a feeling NDSU may have a chance to pull it off. A slight chance, but a chance nonetheless. Those midwest fed motherfuckers are a different breed. I wonder why they haven't tried to move up to D1? Or if they have, what happened?

NDSU is a winner and I'm guessing gets good crowd attendance. Moving up to become a perennial last place team could greatly reduce that brand. Financially, I'm not sure it makes sense.

There's only one decent sized city anywhere close (Minneapolis-St. Paul) and it's 3.5 hours away. It just seems that James Madison may have several built-in advantages, in terms of potential resources and recruiting base, that NDSU just doesn't have.

I didn't even consider the population, etc. Makes a ton more sense now.
April 25, 20241 yr Good thing they got that "starter" from OSU to replace the "backup" RB Edwards that just went in the portal

April 30, 20241 yr God watching this douche bail on his own team when they're getting blown out is going to be epic.
April 30, 20241 yr And I just saw Coach Slime hawking a “ ice chest a/c” unit on YouTube….. will the torture never stop? Edited April 30, 20241 yr by TexasTroll
May 1, 20241 yr What NFL team will want that kid leading their franchise? Not any of the smart ones I wouldn't think. I'd be shocked if SF, LA Rams or now Chargers with Harbaugh, Miami, or Pittsburgh would use a first round pick on him. He seems like the type of guy Jerry Jones would take high in the draft.
May 1, 20241 yr Prime movin' on. HC in NFL, whoever desperate enough come Jan '25. Take his boys in the Draft, pick up the right free agents, and Boom! Super Bowl Surprise! Surly said it, right here, right now.

He’s more of a headache than Caleb Williams with half the talent. Jerry is a lock.
May 1, 20241 yr He’s Caleb without the finger paint. And I’m a Cowboys’ fan that cherished Prime’s time with the Boys.Hook’em !!!
May 1, 20241 yr Caleb Williams seems flaky and a bit weird but Deion's kids come off as genuinely giant selfish assholes who throw people under the bus.

May 1, 20241 yr I'm gonna go ahead and guess that media hype and dad's NFL connections are what is driving this insane idea that Shaduer Sanders is some top QB prospect in this draft. I wouldn't be surprised at all for the expectations to not meet reality and for him to be sitting in that green room undrafted on the first night.

May 1, 20241 yr The constant need by Deon and his sons to immediately bash anyone who leaves the program is absurd.
May 1, 20241 yr I can’t wait for his dog shit son to drop to the 3rd round so that tweet can be reshared a million times

What would it take for Prime to appeal to an NFL owner? Suppose - magic, I know, but just suppose - he could pick up those couple of games that last year they should have won but didn't, to go with the couple they shouldn't have won but did. So they get to 7-5 or so (magically, right?). Would that be enough for some moron NFL to put him on that next level? I really, really doubt it - just like most surly folk, but if it happened, who'd be dumb enough to take a shit -- oooh, froodean, I mean a shot -- at him? Is there an owner that dumb?
May 1, 20241 yr If you were to write a history of the NFL, the title of the book would be There Is Always an Owner that Dumb.

May 1, 20241 yr So, where’s everyone that was sucking his dick when he was getting ready to take a p5 job?
May 1, 20241 yr Didn’t they lose 8 games in a row to end the season? They sure do talk a lot of shit for sucking.
