What am I missing? I saw UCF favored by as much as 15. They looked meh against TCU and there isn't much to glean from thumping New Hampshire and Sam Houston. KJ Jefferson can be a complete lummox. And they'll likely be playing in a rice paddy today. Is it Malazahn and the tempo? This game feels like a jump ball.

Okay, watching Baylor right now is answering my question. And I'm even on this thread discussing how hapless this Baylor team is this year. The Baylor that took CU to OT on the road and had to squirt diarrhea down their own legs to find a way to lose. Sorry. Sometimes I have to jump in and tell myself to shut the fuck up.

Baylor is terrible, so I'll allow your comments.

This is why Deion is such a fucking idiot. He can't handle success. The whole recruits are coming to see us instead of UCF isn't the flex he thinks it is. 1) UCF is going to smoke them now 2) Why aren't recruits coming to your home games to watch your team play, because you give 2 shits about kissing kids ass to get them to play for you. You have shown little to make any intelligent person that follows college football think you are at CU for the long haul.

Welp. Seems like after all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, Colorado is 4-1.

Yes, their first win against a team with a winning record. And a team that will likely be .500 at best by the end of the season. A real juggernaut Deion has delivered. They have arrived.

Oh please. They were 13 point underdogs and won by 27. They beat the shit out of UCF, it was a good win.

Probably the first time anyone has beaten UCF in Orlando. And I'm on this very page questioning why they'd be favored by so much prior to the game, you absolute doink.

You play the games in front of you. Texas is 5-0 and hasn't played anyone either. Just gotta play your schedule. Keep fucking that chicken though.

I'm on this page saying this seemed like a winnable game for your neon one. Keep making barnyard references though.

"Deion sucks. Colorado will lose every game this season!"

Two months later:

Goalposts officially moved.

UCF would give Michigan a run for their money. That was easily the best win of Deion's tenure at Colorado.

Coach Prime and Chad Ochocinco is comedy 😂Ocho : “The kind of teacher I am…I’ll come out there route Travis up and then I’ll lock him up”Coach Prime : “What if I get mad that you routed Travis up and i put my cleats on?”Ocho : “You can’t do nothing with 8 toes”

Not for me. I still think they’re ass and the program is a joke lead by a fucking clown. But make no mistake, they haven’t beaten anyone worth a damn yet.

Name one person who said they'd lose every game this season.

Me last season: this is crazy! Colorado is actually winning some games!

Me this year: WTF? How can he not... NVM. (Waits for wheels to come off)

I’m too lazy to go look but it was said, along w, “lucky to win two games,” etc. Now, it’s, “who have they played?” I don’t even like Deion but some of this stuff is just ridiculous.

I agree that they aren’t that good, but that was a really good win against UCF.

#5427

The win vs Rayplor was insane but the 27 point beatdown on the road at UCF was definitely his most dominating game and quite frankly not one I thought he could ever pull off.

If they can pull off the win against EMAW and the powertowels on the 12th they will be in pretty good shape in conference play.

^ That’s not saying much.

It's Colorado bro. Y'all act like this is Georgia. They are playing like teams. Colorado has been pretty much a dumpster fire since VY drug his nuts over their program 20 years ago. They've had a blip of success here and there but let's remember who they are. 8+ wins is a solid season for them. Especially since two years ago they notched a single win.

I don't like Telenovelas.

I turn them on.

Spurier was a character.

Bowden was a character.

Leach was a character.

Deion is a grifter pos, and so are his children.

There are lots of grifters and pos on Telenovelas. My Spanish is passable at best.

The hot women and over the top acting get my attention so I leave them on it if I come across them.

I don't like them, I don't like Deion. He's grifter. He probably has a lot of smoking women in the backrooms. I'd be okay with televising this aspect too.

I'm leaving the show on until it's conclusion, sans hot women because I'm entertained.

Telenovas have scalding hot senoritas. Colorado football has a bitter old con man. Advantage telenovas

Who gives a shit what he wins this year. His coaching and teams victim complex are tiring. Honestly I'm more intrigued to see how he does without hunter and his kids in the future. If he can get some big names from the portal and reload , he might stick around. If not, I figure he leaves not gracefully.

Lol, he won't be coaching at CU next year.

I'm surprised he's 4-1.

So what's your prediction for CU this season?

Well, it was 4 wins, haha, so they are exceeding my very low expectations for them.

I see 3 more wins out of these four games:

  • Cincinnati
  • Texas Tech
  • Kansas
  • Arizona

Losses to:

  • Kansas Sate
  • Utah

So counting a bowl, probably 7-5

Quote

Colorado has banned Denver Post columnist Sean Keeler from asking questions of football coach Deion Sanders or other members of the football program, the school confirmed Friday.

"After a series of sustained, personal attacks on the football program and specifically Coach Prime, the CU Athletic Department in conjunction with the football program, have decided not to take questions from Denver Post columnist Sean Keeler at football-related events," the athletic department said in a statement provided to ESPN

...

The decision comes two weeks after a news conference in which Sanders accused Keeler of "always being on the attack" and asked, "What happened to get you like this?"

...

Sanders has a history as a coach of using his influence to ban reporters from asking questions about his program.

Is this what you would call a victim complex?

in perpetuating adversarial relationships with reporters, thinking they’re out to get him, while manufacturing rivalries against other coaches?

absolutely.

and i say this as a colorado and deion fan. man was on my childhood SB29 team.

From the outside looking in, the hate and vitriol for that man warrants anything he chooses to do. I have never seen a more polarizing figure amongst football coaches. People were seriously pissed off last year just simply because people were excited about him going to CU.

Yin and Yang. Big personalities attract big attention. A cocksure attitude always invites that kind of stuff and happens in every sport. Tale as old as time

Find me a coach with that kind of hatred. Any sport. At any time frame. We have 109 pages on this coach and we are 5 games into season two.
