He spent the better part of time from New Orleans on the clock to the end, including a solid 7 or 8 minutes straight after Dart was picked, trying to hype up every QB that slid and was good trying to justify his ranking of Sanders. Director did him dirty keeping the Best Available graphic up there w/ Sanders at the top for a solid 2 minutes at least.

April 25Apr 25 Man I'm trying but he's just being so unlikeable. I think he's talented enough to be good in the NFL but not likely as a rookie. He's going to need to humble himself a bit and learn from the backup spot somewhere with good coaching. Not sure he has the mindset to do that which could be his downfall.
April 25Apr 25 The fact that they didn’t go to the draft makes me think at least some of his perception of reality isn’t clouded by ego. Or that Deion is still well connected to a lot of front offices.

There's a lot of bullshit surrounding Hunter, too. That kid is really talented, but the idea that he's going to play both ways full time is laughable. No one on planet Earth is good enough to do that in today's NFL. But people can talk themselves into believing the bullshit because Hunter is actually extremely talented. Shadeur ain't. So the whole Legendary and being a diva and having his number retired despite not even winning a bowl game wears just a little bit thin.

The talk I heard yesterday morning said he's most likely to play defense and maybe some limited offensive sets in certain situations. Makes sense to me.

Just saw an article where the Jags are saying he's starting at WR and they'll work him into playing CB. Which seems weird because the Jags secondary is complete ass. But I guess they've dumped so much money into Lawrence they need to have him look good.
April 25Apr 25 Plenty of great NFL QB's started their careers behind entrenched starters. It's very common. Edited April 25Apr 25 by 'stache
April 25Apr 25 Tom Brady turned out okay. More recently some Michigan State guy hung around for like 15 years.

That’s funny because I heard Daniel Jeremiah say he’d probably play WR and they’d work him in on defense.
April 25Apr 25 Havent seen a rookie start on the bench that became a good NFL QB since Romo. You act like your suggested path is reasonable.Really bad take and verifiably incorrect. I bet about 1/3 of hall of fame QBs road pine. Maybe more, especially in the old days. Roger Fuckin Staubach was a backup as a 27-year old rookie, and he was one of the greatest college qbs of alltime. Now teams sometimes form succession plans and draft backups as heir apparents or upside guys.
April 25Apr 25 LOL, some NFL owners gonna end up in the El Salvador gulag. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/donald-trump-takes-issue-shedeur-214528567.html

Interesting as Hunter really didn't attend receiver meetings at CU and when it came to offense it was very basic stuff and they depended upon his athletic ability to be better than the guy trying to guard him. That sounds perfect for the NFL. I really want this trade and pick to blow up on Jacksonville after listening to the buzz word laden crap spew out by the their 12-year old GM.

April 26Apr 26 It’s the whole circus. No matter what a person thinks of Shadeur, you’re getting the whole circus with him. I’m not even a Deion hater, but I don’t know who wants to sign up for the circus. 🤡

The first time he struggles two games in a row in the NFL he'll create a him or me scenario.
