Just think, if RBG doesnt enter feminist ways into goverment, we dont have insta thots and tik tok sluts. I regret both of them exist.

I'll joke about her right now. That woman is responsible for more abortions than south chicago!

Nope.  Once again, your estrogen is showing.  Take the Oval Office and pack the fucking Court.  13 ought to do it.  Fuck every Republican in the United States.

It’s our only path. The path to survival is getting really fucking narrow. Like...can’t see it narrow.

Trump is probably getting reelected anyway. She wasn't making it another 4 years.

This won't help his re-election at all.

Jesus christ, just like white conservatives thought the world was ending when obama was elected....there really are a bunch of soft fear mongoring pussies in here. Everything is extreme, the world is ending, nazi this.....yall are soft

It’s very possible taking the Oval Office will require SCOTUS involvement.

Exactly. So, like I said...it’s over.

Johnny Sack has a big smile on his face.  no doubt sipping on some whiskey in celebration.

Roe v. Wade may have also died tonight.

Blissful ignorance... you have it
Yeah, but I really hope that Mitch doesn't force this. I know politics, but the country is fractured and needs calm.
I agree.

The republic just died. It’s over. He controls the court. There’s nothing left to stop him. He can do whatever he wants with the election, they’ll back him. The country is lost.

Lmao

Mitch will try to ram someone thru Trump will say vote for me or the liberals will ruin America by putting AOC on the bench. When he loses the election then he'll ram in Don Jr

I chuckled but we could probably do worse than AOC.

I don’t recall what exactly went down in 2016 but I hope it can be used as precedent for 2020.
because I know the republicans in Congress will suddenly change their minds and bring up all the democrat objections in 2016, and the democrats will be doing the opposite.
but did that require senate majority to make happen?

At best, this will become a state by state decision to allow for abortions. It will slow liberal migrations to states like Texas thereby keeping a Republican senate majority more difficult to overcome. The red states will stay red for a lot longer. California and South Dakota each having 2 senators is a tough pill to swallow right now.

I am pretty angry so I wont type what I think so Ill just say RIP.

I am going to be scandalously intoxicated this evening, so do stay tuned for some rather unfiltered thoughts.

Yeah, sure, bud.

Russian investigation, impeachment, Kavanaugh, etc... is all about to come to roost.

Roe V Wade is not dead until the next civil war is over, and I'm dead fucking serious.

6-3 for a generation.

That is devastating for a lot of people in this country.

I can't imagine it will. But this is fucking 2020.

This is good illustration of why justices need to think tactically about their place on the court and how and when they maybe replaced.

Again, how is a site full of fucking Texans, this fucking liberal, soft, and scared. No wonder we have been an embarrassment for a decade.

And I hope i win the Powerball tonight so I can buy some remote island and get the fuck outta here. I have better odds of doing that than Mitch not ramming this through.

They already have five votes and let’s not pretend RBG was much of a friend to ordinary Americans. Sotomayor has been a much better justice.

At least we know Mitch does not believe in filling a vacancy during an election year...

Roe v. Wade is the fucking least of my concerns at the moment.

I agree.

He will force it.

It’s over. There’s no chance to take the White House - the court will block it/support trumps open interference and cheating.

This country is about to bleed and burn.

This might give you an idea:

is it, much like the last election, conservatives just stay quiet.....or is this site really, in Texas, primarily a bunch of liberals?

Dude, have you not been paying attention? This is no longer conservative vs liberal, it’s those that want to save America and our pnricipals vs those those that are too stupid to realize they’ve been conned. Obviously if you are asking the question you probably fall into group 2.

Man, sounds like hope is lost. Maybe a really nice country like Saudi Arabia or Bulgaria has your name all over it. It must be tough to be you. Do you lose sleep at night?

Fuck the ledge--it's time to jump off it.

Anybody who jumps off a ledge vs eating a bullet or 20 in the fight we need is complicit, as far as I'm concerned.  I know you're using a well known saying around here, but it's about to be the time for action, not cowardice.  I really hope to hell I'm wrong.  I'm lucid and sober right now.  I wish I was sad, RBG deserves that, but I'm furious and full of terrible thoughts.

You don't think I want a conservative on SC? Weird, but ok. Seriously, I don't think it'll be good to put in a new justice till after we know who's in charge. I don't try to lie

Really?  How so?

It looked like Hillary was going to be elected, remember?  Until she wasn't.  So, explain your tactics.

Are we talking about a different Mitch here?

We need more of this.  We won’t get it but man would it go a long way to healing our divide.

On the record.  FUCK!

Dotard announced names for the court just a few days ago. We should have realized then that he had inside info that she was on her deathbed. I thought it was just re-election politics. No, he knew she was dying.

Only need three more.

Romney and anyone running in a swing state are the marks.

By my count we need three more of this.

I believe it's been known in Congress and the WH for a few weeks that RBG was waning.

So, my guess is most of what you'll see in terms of media response from R Judiciary Committee members and the WH will have been considered and baked since the end of August.

Just think, if RBG doesnt enter feminist ways into goverment, we dont have insta thots and tik tok sluts. I regret both of them exist.
