September 21, 20205 yr Do you have a Mac? Final Cut Pro. Otherwise, Adobe. Also, have a shit load of RAM, well at least 16GB, and do everything on SSDs.
November 25, 20241 yr I've used Adobe Premier Pro forever and really do think it is the best. You can also try out Adobe Express which is just a "quick and easy" way of doing things. Not as in depth as Premier Pro, but will get the job done, depending on what you are doing. I am not aware of any FREE programs that are widely used, but there could be some.
November 25, 20241 yr Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve are the gold standards. As @Dignan says, you may be able to get by with Adobe Express. It's the cheapest option.
