January 9, 20196 yr I don’t think Coach Leach ever saw the “CJK5H” sign, or at least he didn’t acknowledge it, before or during the game.I did show it to ESPN’s sideline reporter for that game, Tom Luginbill, and he smirked and shook his head, laughing as he walked away. I didn’t have to explain it to him.Congratulations to him on Coach o/t Year!
January 9, 20196 yr Lol texas tech. Nice day for their former coaches. Tubervile must be waiting by his mailbox for his good news.

February 10, 20196 yr "Quarterback Gage Gubrud transferring to Washington State" Former Eastern Washington quarterback Gage Gubrud has won an appeal for an additional year of eligibility and will spend his final season as a graduate transfer at Washington State. WSU announced Gubrud, a two-time finalist for the Walter Payton Award, given to the best offensive player in FCS, joined the program Saturday morning. "We are excited for Gage to come in and compete with the quarterbacks on our team," head coach Mike Leach said. "He is an extremely experienced and productive player who led Eastern Washington to great heights in his time there. It's not often that you can add a quarterback to your roster that has started 28 games and thrown for nearly 10,000 yards. We are looking forward to getting him on campus and finishing his collegiate career in a WSU Cougar uniform." http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25959528/quarterback-gage-gubrud-transferring-washington-state Edited February 10, 20196 yr by LTtxfan

Somehow you’ve squirmed and crawled, probably very similar to Gollum from Lord of the Rings, and found yourself in the NFL and somehow you have the total inability to teach a guy to take a snap. Aren’t they proud to have you? Every 7th grade coach in the country can teach a guy to take a snap… Well, obviously it’s because he can’t. He’s got an inability to stick his hand under somebody’s ass and pluck a ball away once it’s placed at the top.” This is peak Leach right here.

February 11, 20196 yr Gubrud, is a damn good pick up for the Cougars, I envision big offensive numbers this season again for them.
February 12, 20196 yr The Leach coaching tree has produced arguably the best QB in the last 3 NFL drafts. Mayfield was the #1 pick overall. Mahomes was 2nd QB drafted at #10 but is clearly better than Trubisky. And Jared Goff was also an overall #1 who was developed by Sonny Dykes and Tony Franklin. And while I have questions about how effective Kyler Murray will be as an NFL QB, there is no question of his development at the college level. Eventually, even the NFL was bound to notice a trend of this magnitude.

Agreed and they should be very familiar with him. Gubrud lit up WSU for 474 yards and 5 TDs in 2016 with FCS talent around him. Leach would certainly remember that.

That's what you'd expect from a gang of racketeers that staged a hoax of that magnitude. Seriously, the fucking kid admitted in his deposition that he wasn't locked in the electrical room and went in on his own accord against the explicit directive of the athletic trainer, who confirmed the directive. So Leach is presented with this letter that has a guilty admission written between every single fucking line in it, refuses to sign the letter that basically forces him to admit to a fake incident that never took place, and Tech's "only choice" was to dismiss him rather than expelling the little bastard that staged that nonsense, firing, and possibly recommending to the AG's office in Austin to pursue perjury charges against the Chancellor who, by lying in his deposition about 1) the "locking incident" and 2) the grounds for terminating Leach, was complicit in the fakery of that incident. Yes, THAT was the "only choice." For fuck's sake, what are we talking about here? Edited February 16, 20196 yr by hpslugga

"I'm sitting here watching all of this film and Big John caught something I'd missed," Leach said. "I go back and look at three games ago -- they were lower and their feet were moving and they were more violent." Imagine Nick Saban investigating tips on line play from the janitor. I imagine Nick Saban might be meticulous enough at film study, or have enough former head coaches on his quality control staff who are, that he doesn't need to consult the janitor on matters of self-scouting. That's not really a good look for Leach.
