Denis Leary's No Cure for Cancer

It was even funnier when Bill Hicks did it.

Can’t believe it took 40 posts to get a Robin Williams mention.

Y’all are savages. A night at the met is an all-timer.

Among some others mentioned, Bill Burr and Chris rock in their early days are definitely among my favorites.

Norm is my favorite, but Rock’s Bring the Pain was revelatory for me.  When I was hip in my dorm with WinAmp, I got the mp3, which was my first exposure to it. I listened to that album a thousand times and died every time.

Murphy sucked as a stand up comedian, Raw and Delirious are about as funny as a root canal.

If you’re old enough to remember. Buddy Hackett’s HBO special was solid. Up until that moment you had to catch him live to hear his stuff uncensored. HBO brought him to America, and the guy had style.
Redd Fox’s HBO special was the same. When those two guys were unfiltered they were fucking awesome. I know they get lost because it was so long ago, but they were really fucking good.

Hammer me for it not being standup, but any time Robin Williams was on Carson. True natural humor.  When you make kings of comedy lose their spot, it's legit.

holy shit that is total insanity.  even jim carrey was never that nuts.  was robin still doing coke?  he says in the interview he didn’t drink anymore.
