Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders!

The University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners!

It's a battle of teams that make Twitter word counts cry!

MTSU is 0-2 after getting absolutely spanked by Army and Troy.

UTSA is 2-0 after unconvincing wins over Texas State and SFA.

Which record is more truthful? We will find out.

Man, older indoor stadiums always look simultaneously harshly lit and kind of gloomy on tv.

Funny that a conference game is a replacement game after Memphis party-bussed themselves out of playing.

Well that was... something

something stupid and shitty

Are we sure UTSA isn't the 0-2 team that hastily had to get ready on short notice?

that hold is painful and yea that stupid play and INT took the life right out of UTSA

if they can hold them to 3 or less they should be very happy

Feels like UTSA squeaking by the little sisters of the poor and MTSU getting beat down by good teams means the Blue Raiders are feeling like "oh wait this isn't bad at all!" while UTSA is like "wtf this is actually hard."

Edited by texifornia

looks to me like UTSA is trying that shit on offense where they insist on running their system instead of what is actually working

they are getting OK yards on straight forward runs and they have completed some nice passes over the middle

then they come back with the none yard pass to the statue receiver in the flat or worse the -2 yard pass and they just flush a down into the toilet....then you can't accept a 4 yard run up the gut to have 3rd and 6

the fucking mask with the mouth cut out...

UTSA seems to have better athletes on offense. Traylor is trying too hard.

UTSA needed that....that defender gets to take some swings at the turnover pinata

I think they could have held them to a punt, but I think the INT is a better feeling

I love trickery, but UTSA is just not pulling it off.

  • Author

Stockstill with the budget Lone Ranger look

this slow developing trick play bullshit is going to lose them the game that was a horrible horrible play call that was never going to work

I don't think he was down of course they show all the worst replay angles possible

and this series shows how MTSU is 0-2 so far

shit based on that series and the USTA offense they should give the ball mack to MTSU until they get a safety

Beautiful pass, nice catch. Some real quality finally.

UTSA player is lucky they did not offset that with the massive jersey pull

there they are the Vic Mackey Dancers!

If I had easy access to San Antonio level Tex Mex there'd be a lot more if me to love.

I don't mind Murray as an announcer. He's ok with getting a little geeky about coverages and getting in the QB's thought process.

If Traylor just calls a normal game from here on out this should be good.

pretty crazy he goes from a near safety to a 16 yard gain....to have 3rd and 9....not winning football there

This fucking AIG commercial makes me so ragey. Hyper staged "aw isn't that kiddo cute" bullshit.

Also the mom/narrator's aaaalmost Scottish accent - "fin-nahn-shel" - just burrows in.

I don't think the controlled that before it went out of bounds

and of course like all game the replay sucks and cuts off before the important part

This guy Pierce is a dude

yea he just took that ball away from the defender that was a horribly ill advised throw, but the receiver bailed him out massively

Some real "other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?" energy when they talk about O'Hara and his INTs.

after that huge QB run damn UTSA has to go for points now

Fun little drive. Adkins has an arm.

  • Author

Love Houston Nutt's energy. Is this what Lou Holtz was like before he got semi-senile?

Just the thought that Houston Nutt is a contrast to someone who might be senile is kind of funny to me.

  • Author

Yeah Adkins might be the guy for UTSA. Dude can whip it.
