Yeah that delivery finish is not Maddux approved.

That was one of the worst ABs I’ve ever fucking seen, Hicks.

Huge leadoff walk by Giancarlo, Aroldis to close, Helo’s worst nightmare.

Giancarlo did the right thing by not trying to hit a baseball. I credit him for that. Chapman going back out there has me shitting myself.

Fuck yes. Now to face the adopted little stepsisters of the poor in Tampa. Who did bust our cheeks this year.

Tampa's legit.  They were the 2nd best team in the AL last year too.  Hell they may be the best team in MLB, but I hope y'all beat them.

And I hope the Astros beat the As or White Sox.  I need a hit of those Yankee tears.  Its been a year since my last dose.

Please please please, baseball gods

Hate to break it to you, but it's Cleveland.  The gods spoke long, long ago.

You are the weakest link.....goodbye:

Why did you pick the Indians to win it all?

Start with the best pitcher in the sport in Shane Bieber, and on the days he does not pitch, there is a deep, well-run bullpen with myriad strikeout options. The offense is top-heavy but those top options can be great, led by Jose Ramirez and Francisco Lindor. I think it is Cleveland's time to get back to the Series and edge the Dodgers. -- Eric Karabell

18 playoff losses in a row for the Twins.

Baseball is fucking stupid. 18 straight losses in the postseason? I was freshman in college the last time they won a playoff game. Pathetic.

Lulz. Groundhog Day for the Reds

They're in the NL, dummy.

What are you doing on this thread?  This isn’t the place to discuss minor league baseball

I really don't see the upside of pitching Fiers over Manaea even with the White Sox being generally better against LHP.

"generally better???" They're 15-0 against lefties.

Of course, they just got to Fiers...

madrigal makes up for his shitty fielding by being incredibly slow?  How does he not score on that with 2 outs?

But he does all the little things...

checkers match between Melvin and Renteria....neither are smart enough for chess.  One starts fucking Mike Fiers...the other brings in fucking Carlos Rodon.

8.22 ERA and 1.57 WHIP, what no good?

This is like the end of an NCAA regional when the cinderella has no pitching left...except this is the big leagues and it's only a 3 game series.

Sox have used 6 pichers to get through 4.  They only have 5 left if you consider Giolito and Keuchel to be unavailable.  Hell, maybe the plan is for Giolito to close.

It’s been 2 hrs and 15 mins since first pitch and we just finished the 4th inning.  Over a five hour pace for nine innings.
