Serious pitching duel in LA.  Woodruff is practically unhittable, and Kershaw is close to the same.

Yelich looks like a shell of his former self

Kershaw strikes out the side in the 6th

That was one of the best innings of pitching I’ve ever seen in my life.

Sure looks vintage Kershaw

Gets into the slightest trouble and what does he do?  Pickoff.  Nice baby.

Is Kurkjian trying to do a Shaggy impression? Because he sure sounds like he is.
“It’s, like, the worst base running I’ve ever seen, Scoob!”

So is Roberts really going to pull him?

I get a little tired of the absurd stats they keep coming up with but did like the one kurkjian just said

bauer first time in playoff history a guy goes 8 IP, 12 Ks, 0 BBS, 0 runs

Kershaw 2 outs away from matching him, gives up the walk with 2 outs in the 7th ....and then picks him off (and to make up for it, got to a bakers dozen in K’s)

Bettors aren’t placing much face in Flaherty vs TBD. Padres are -223.

Should be an interesting game.....everyone except Cardinals fans wants to see the SD/LA matchup, but their pitching may be their demise.  They better be ready to score 10+ again.  Garrett Richards should be a key player in today's game (barf)

Yeah, I'm torn.  I really don't like that SD lineup.  They mash.  But with Clevinger out, that staff could get murdered by the Dodgers.  But the Cardinals have fucked us up over the years.

All time record between Dodgers and Cards- Dodgers lead 1044-1040.

NL Central showed up this postseason!

Strike or not (which it was), you can’t watch that pitch with two strikes, Bote.

1-7.  AL Central went 1-6

Just came to post this.

we all knew the Central was the worst division in both leagues (even though they somehow managed to land 7 of the 16 total playoff spots) but if cardinals lose tonight, they will have gone a combined 2-14

So the Marlins have still never lost a playoff series?

Wait, is that true?

Correct, the Marlins don't lose playoff series.  Sorry Bruin, maybe next year.

That’s what they said.  Twice in the playoffs, twice WS Champs.

As a Cubs fan I fully expected this. No science needed, I simply saw the name Marlins. This time they didn't rip my heart out and shit on it.

They are 2 for 2 on playoff appearances to World Series titles. Cubs fans should be mad at Alex Gonzalez for that, not Bartman

Grisham handled that better than I would have
