I told him that was tantamount to theft and that I wasn't interested in witnessing the bullshit. So I said leave, you dumb motherfucker. He told me I was an asshole and I asked him to step outside, to which he refused. So I kept railing on his character until he said he was heading to the restroom and then he Irish goodbye'd the place. We'd already had our falling out some time before that due to other bad bullshit he and others had pulled, that I called them on. It baffles me to this day that he thought he could just show up with intent to harm and get away with it. But, hey, we were all a lot younger then. They're doing fine things over at IT and what not. Eric seems like he's really matured and gotten over all of his insecurities, for sure. I think it is important to uphold the integrity of reporting in the 9.95 realm. Soon we will have reporters following high school kids in bathrooms. thank you good sir.

I think my favorite moment related to that period on 247 was when LotusHorn showed up to reveal to the board that closetojumping was, in fact, Greg Davis and had been posting on the boards since he arrived on campus. Watching numerous known idiots from that site take that insight from their “insider” as gospel and comment on the ramifications had me explode into laughter. Second to that was waking up on a trip to London and discovering that EJ Holland, hipster dumbfuck extraordinaire, believed that I had treated he and Mike Roach to an Appleby’s dinner. Watching people on this board or Surly try to rationalize that one was awesome. SLX clearly leaves quite the impression. 14 minutes ago, Fud said: So what are they saying about Gilbert? He doesn't have a "handler", apparently. His youth football coach is a family friend and he allegedly doesn't have his hand out. He is, however, a big aggie fan. He took to two visits to College Station but has never gone to any other campus with Davis. It doesn't sound like this person would be interested in stopping, or capable of stopping, a course correction in this recruitment if ATM can't be defended due to program direction. Sometimes those youth football coach ties with their university works out. I coached Tony Jeffries in youth ball.

September 22, 20232 yr From what I've read, it sounds like Auburn's defense is similar to Miami's. Ron Roberts is going to blitz a ton. Is Bisontis out? Foster?

September 22, 20232 yr Popular Post for the hundreds and hundreds reaching out, begging for the longings of yesteryear circlejerk to stop, here would be my macro thoughts after 3 games: on offense, bobby p is awesome, and oddly in a lot of ways the perfect compliment to jimbo in that he isn't stretching the concepts too greatly, but the overall organization, design, implementation, snapping of the ball with more than 2 seconds left on the playclock, etc - has been amazing. will be really interesting to watch a team that plays us 2 high and can still get after the passer because neither jimbo nor bobby p give a shit about trying to keep extra guys in to block. personnel-wise, qb looks great, ruben owens is going to be a difference maker at some point but until then it's a replacement-level room, the te's and wideouts are as advertised, and the ol is praying they can reach replacement level soon. none of that is going to matter because . . . lol defense. i understand durkin's concepts on a macro level, however the game has evolved too much, offenses are too good and the reads are way too easy, especially when nothing is being switched up front. the dline is good, although the refusal to play more than one sub-270 guy at once is criminal, the lb's are quietly pretty good, but it makes no difference because our cb's are atrocious. jacoby matthews and bryce anderson are about to look very good, however demani richardson and the cb's are such a liability i fear it's just not going to matter. unrelated: perhaps we shouldn't have promoted a fucking ga to secondary coach. next 4 weeks are going to be fascinating for jimbo's job / career / etc. as there is a legit chance to go 4-0, and also to be clear 0-4 is on the table. what could go wrong.

September 22, 20232 yr Auburn cannot score. aggys will win this one, and the roller-coaster cars will be in the clouds.
September 22, 20232 yr Freeze is going to have something for them, but it probably won’t be enough. I’m going with first half scare, aggy pulls away in the second half and comfortably covers.
September 22, 20232 yr Auburn is bad, aggy has an offense until the OL gets Weigman killed, this one's a HUGE SEC WIN that gets the coaster moving up.
September 22, 20232 yr Any news on why Stewart was out last week? They are going to need him to play this week, and Thomas to be healthy. Fat Smith, disgruntled Muhammed, and not that good Walker will not be able to carry the team like they did against Monroe.
September 22, 20232 yr The dichotomy between this thread and Texags cracks me up. They are blasting as loudly as they can that we stand no chance against basically anyone with a pulse, will for sure lose against any “real” teams, and m totally dismissing a win at Bama with their real qb, etc. Meanwhile we’re over here using our critical thinking (aka woke knowledge) skills to deduce that they’ll probably win some games based on, ya know, actually watching football and having a basic grasp on reality. Anyway, here’s to hoping auburn pulls an upset and shatters their collective skulls to put their downward spiral into perspective, as much of a toss up as that game may or may not be.

You say that as if we hadn’t all figured out you were Greg Davis by the end of the 2003 Holiday Bowl. Chance Mock and VY nearly died for the cause because of your refusal to change things up to deal with the pass rush. And then to throw everyone off the scent, you orchestrated the banner in 2013. Clever, but not clever enough

September 22, 20232 yr aggy defense is a Heisman maker and Hugh Freeze is a good offensive mind. I expect Auburn to win.
